That's a great video lips. Very interesting and so true. What makes an expert an expert? That video brings so many things to mind. One thing that bugs me is the new names things. Like suddenly if you blink 10 times a minute there's now a name for it.  Normal everyday things are labeled as problems by experts.

So true Lips.  Only an expert can create a problem that never was a problem.  Froggy's example is a classic one.

Great video, loved it! I am quite annoyed by the "experts" nowadays, they are popping up in every field of activity.

Nice video! I am also tired of various experts, and it seems that there is no rule of what actually makes you an expert. I always thought that it involves years and years of theoretic and practical experience, and seeing a whole bunch of 20 year old experts makes me wonder...

There are no real experts in a public life; there's only people who sell themselves to say what they are told to say. Real experts are left aside and no one wants to hear about their opinion. I mean ordinary people would like to know the truth but then, who cares about ordinary people?

And who are the so-called "experts"? Are they getting to the root of the problem or camouflaging the real problem?

I love the Oprah section. If you don't have a problem you create a problem just to get on her show. As if unless we have a problem we simply just don't fit in. But then again that would be considered a "problem" ahhhhhhhh so you are saved.......lmaooo!

LOL yeah that Oprah bit was funny. I know a guy that whenever you talk to him and say something like "they say", he always asks "who's they"?  Now I know It's the experts that's who!

Great video Lips and so true. I agree who are these experts and who chose them to be an expert? Did they go to school for it and if so then aren't their teachers the real experts and who taught them???  I could go on forever with who taught who to make experts! So my question is what is your expertise? We all must have one right? I would have to say I'm always late no matter what, so does that make me an expert of tardiness? 

I think that expert is mostly self awarded attribute. And it does have some weight when you see it on TV, but I am actually surprised that no one made an Expert Certification Agency, where one can pay to get the Expert title
