  • I have read in an article a while ago that some online gameplay providers like world of warcraft offered the option to order in food during gameplay.

As is was curious which food one can order i made an account. But nothing happened :-). Would you order food while gaming or gambling? Would it work as a distraction or just as a stimulant?

    Any experiences around?

  • Well, I prefer to take a pause to eat, and not just eat automatically as I stare at the screen smiley

  • I suppose it's a matter of convenience for players. I find it just as easy to take a break and order something  but I could see how it would come in handy.

  • OK, maybe not related, but do all of you guys and girls like to order some food when you watch a movie at home?

  • For economics, we go shopping every two weeks and count out 14 meals (we only eat dinner here lol) so we know we dont have to go out again and can break down remaining funds for things like gambling, snacks etc...We allow one order in..pizza or chinese or whatever (which we had last night and today while playing online)...usually our gambling day is shared and order in and drink soda or beer.

  • As to the casino having take-out menu, that's kind of cool - providing it caters to my region..I don't want pop-ups or a side bar if the food isnt accessible to me - but if it pulled up local take-away that'd be awesome
I'd also want the menu collapsable - If I'm not getting any (or got it) I dont to stare at ads while I play

  • I believe gaming online and gambling online are pretty different things by its concepts.

Years ago i counted myself into the heavy gamer population, I played World of Warcraft in particular spending probably 12 hours a day online without a pause. When I remember that time, I would surely make a good use of ordering food and anyone else that experienced World of Warcraft in the same way would makea good use of it as well, after all I had only 2 meals per day (one before I start playing and one after I finish it).

I believe these days even World of Warcraft aint what it use to be, the old game concept evolved a lot and is now more geared towards casual gaming, so people spend much less time per day playing it.

Now, when it comes to gambling, I never felt obliged to sit beside computer more than I wanted to, I can stop pretty much whenever I want to without any repercussions. Thats why I think ordering of food is a convenience rather than necessity. As far as myself, I love my girlfriend's fresh home cooked meals made the way I like it so I would rather pause my gambling than replace it with an ordered food cheesy

  • I think it's pretty cool. It's nice to have that option, especially if your on a roll and don't wanna get up!

  • It's an interesting idea but I don't think it's necessary. I play mostly slots and bingo, so I can stop playing whenever I want to eat. I don't order food, only in really special occasions when there's no time for cooking and even then, I prefer to prepare a meal from scratch.
