Our Daily Inspiration...

Quotes are amazing, i use them as a mental drug.. to calm or soothe hard times, cure a sense of loneliness, share my happiness, to maybe educate myself, or confirm thoughts.. they are humbling, some can make you choke up..cuz you know you be feelin' it.. quotes are like visable souls and beating hearts, arms that hold you close, and paths that guide you.. to each of us as individuals we will have our own meanings, but alot say exactly whats meant from the individuals mind.. reminds me of that philosiphy quote gosh i got to find it

Aside from this.. what do they REALLY mean?

This one is confusing BUT understandable, i see it as.. Bring it all out in the open, once and for all.. then burn it all down".. lol

These are very deep imagin.

There is one my Mum used to say to me all the time when I was very young which was "you are as good as everyone else, no better than, but as good as".  This has stuck with me all my life.

I've often heard this one from my parents when I was a kid and I always remember it when I have a difficult decision to make:

"Don't do to others what you wouldn't like them to do to you."

Probably these words are why I always try to put myself into the other's shoes before judging him or her.

Well, here's a few more daily inspirations that have got me through some tough times,they just take a little thought..

It is easy to hide behind philosophy, than to admit hurts, confusions, loves and passions, but like history it's going to be there.. (giving a reason for holding back years and tears, to live life with more courage)

“A truth that's told with bad intent...Beats all the lies you can invent.” (some people keep it a little TOO real and say things that really hurt you)

“It is easy in the world to live after the world's opinion; it is easy in solitude to live after our own; but the great man is he who in the midst of the crowd keeps with perfect sweetness the independence of solitude.” (which actually means.. don't let no one or anything get you down, or put a stake of hate in your heart)

... and for me the greatest inspiration of all is music,funny how magical music is it somehow changes everything...turn on some slow jams and hot romance! (well for you's of those that are not single add some hot romance, i'm single so i have to skip that for now lol)

This is what my daughter wrote in a card she gave me after my mom died and the words could not be more true:

You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only option.

There are some really good quotes, and I like this one, took me a lot of time to change myself for the better...

I'm very sorry that you were hurt by this individual.

My conclusion with respect to on-line dating is that it is, literally, a waste of time.  My opinion on the matter is that: if you meet someone on-line and you have a number of conversations with them which go very well, then you may decide you're going to meet them in person.  Alternatively, you can simply just go out and meet people in person!

That's the thing about the Internet, it slows down the entire relationship-forming process because there is a length of time that is devoted to reaching a point where, in person, the relationship-forming process first begins!  You have to put people through a certain vetting process on-line to determine whether or not you want to meet them in person when you meet people in person (or could) every day of your life!

The other problem with the Internet, thatyou experienced, is that it opens up the door to predatorial acts.  The people who will commit such acts are relegated to doing so via the Internet because they cannot accomplish their vile intentions when they start off in face-to-face relationships.  On some occasions, they give off too weird a, "Vibe," a vibe which you would certainly have picked up from this guy, in person.  In other cases, even a live interpersonal relationship starts off well-enough, but they then find it difficult to control their impulses for a long enough period of time to gain trust.

The advantage the Internet gives such people, whether you call it, "Working," or, "Grooming," a person, is that they can do so with multiple people at the same time, sometimes literally.  The advantages of this are that it is easier for such people to control their impulses, and just like pulling a slot machine handle for a jackpot, the more pulls you make, the greater chance you have to get lucky.  Imagine if he has similar dealings with five, ten, maybe even fifteen women at a time...eventually one of them will capitulate.

My advice is to always limit your trust of people you meet on-line, and keep the relationship-building process, in terms of romance, as organic as possible.  I do not mean to be melodramatic, but it may be that you simply avoided meeting a strange guy in person...or you may have narrowly avoided the missing persons report.

You can never be too careful.  Take care of yourself.
