Pet Names

Hello all..  I need some help naming my boyfriends new little baby guinea pig... lol yes i said guinea pig. Its a girl and brown and so cute, it can fit in the palm of your hand.
Anyways any suggestions would be appreciated.

awww she looks like a gem to me.. beautiful.. how about "ginny" or "ammy" short for amesthyse the gem color (probably spelling it wrong)

It always takes me a few days or even a week to name a new pet. Something in the personality hits me and i'm like that's it!

She kinds reminds me of a little potato. Spudsta would be funny. Others that came to mind when I looked at her was Molly, Liza Miguineapig and Topanga. Heard Topanga from a U.S. TV show. She is too cute!

OMG, someone else in the LCB family got a guinnea pig.  She is beautiful Chantellee.  If she is a short hair little piggie she will be small like my Pervis was.  My current piggies are nicknamed "bad hair day" piggies.  They are huge for guinnea pigs. I have named all my animals Ive gotten since my divorce after real people, their nicknames, made up peoples names or 1 was named after a company.  Here are the examples:

Lottie Lab:  My current recently rescued dog.  She is named after a Here Come the Mummies band forum and concert friend.  The real Lottie has black hair, tall and goofy as hell.  Lottie Lab has black hair, her head is almost 3 feet off the ground which is tall for a lab and lastly my dog is goofy as hell.

Cledus, one of my current guinnea pigs:  He is named after an online friend of mine.  Her name is Cledith, which to me is a wierd 1st name.  I nicknamed her Cledus.  She hasnt been 2 happy with me naming a mini pig after her.  Originally, Cledus the mini pig was named Molester but I took 2 much heat for the name.

Lester, my other current guinnea pig:  35 years ago a friend of mine went on vacation with myself and 15 others always gave the name Lester Pazarkowitz when making reservations for dinner for the 17 of us every nite in Myrtle Beach.  Every nite the person taking the reservation asked him to spell the last name.  Needless to say every nite he spelled it differently.  10 straight nites I heard the hostesses call out real loud, "the Pazarkowitz party of 17".  Now u may realize my 2 guinnea pigs that are brothers were to be Lester and Molester.

Pervis, my 1st guinnea pig, may he rest in peace in my side yard:  In 2003 my girlfriend at the time, Robin decided to get a guinnea pig.  At the store was around 9 ugly guinnea pigs and 1 multicolor handsome pig.  When she picked up the handsome guinnea pig he started shaking so hard.  She bought this little piggie.  In the checkout line Robin asked what we should name him.  Immediately Pervis came to mind.  She loved the name but then asked me how I came up with that name.  I told her in the 1980's a basketball player at the University of Louisville  name was Pervis Ellison.  His nick name was "never nervous Pervis".  We had "very nervous Pervis".  Hense, the pig was named Pervis.

CJ my retarded beagle, may he also rest in peace in doggie heaven:  This is short and sweet.  As a 1 year old dog he showed up at work as a stray.  He looked terrible and pitiful.  The name of the company i was corporate controller for was C&J Trucking Company, hence my beagle was named CJ.

Chantellee, enjoy the guinnea pig.  If u dont just leave the piggie in a cage to rot the 2 of u wont believe what a unbelievable personality she will have.  My 2 guinnea pigs are free living.  They havent been living in a cage since I got them in July, 2008.  They run loose on the main level of the house, are potty trained and havent chewed on 1 thing they arent suppose to.  My Cledus is an alpha male, unsociable, but if I catch him then put him in my lap he will stay put all day.  Lester is an obsessive compulsive eater, friendly and mister personality.  When I talk to him he always starts yapping back at me.  I put him in my lap he wont stay put.  He cant stand being without food.  Both my piggies eat the usual stuff but are addicted to cashews.  Let us know what u name her.

I like the name "Little Miss Piggles"... but pet names are just so personal...
You gotta feel the name with that pet. I always wait a few days and the name
comes... sometimes I think they tell me what their names are!

I had 2 almost identical cats once, so I named them both "Cat".
One was Cat-Astrophe and the other was Cat-Erwaul. Their names definitely
fit each of them perfectly!

I've seen people walking their ferrett on a leash so I'm sure you can get one for your little mini pig, Bella.

Omg Katt that is hilarious..  i cant imagine driving down the road and seeing someone walking a guinea pig lmao... (no offense gunny if you walk yours') i do love the PiNk leash tho! Again thanks guys...  I can always count on my team here at LCB.

I don't know Chantelle, my ferrets used to have a great time going for a walk... had to be very patient cause they want to go where they want to go... ferret business you know!

People would come up to them and pet them and goo goo at them like babies and they loved it! Course they had a habit of climbing right up a person (under the clothes if they could get there!) and that got a lot of this:
