Player's influence on a slot

DO WE HAVE ANY INFLUENCE ON WHAT WILL LAND NEXT? 

So with a few friends we play slots, not huge amounts, but noticable and whenever we see each other playing we get crazy. All of us play with diffrent stategy and moves so i wanted to start this thread to see what people think. 

PLAYER 1: chooses a bet, pressing the auto spin button and watches what will land

PLAYER 2: starting low letting the reels roll and every now and then stops them

ME PERSONALY: I change my bet very often and see the games reaction to it and I love to stop my reels mess with my paylines do anything in general because i do believe that we influence the games algorithm by changing the way we play it.

PLAYER 4: 5 to 10 coins only and of course fewer spins but if he lands a win fast he just leaves the game and goes to the next

i really want to hear people opinions

Look up RNG . You cant affect the outcome of the spin.

I know what RNG is but if you ask a game developer he ll have a slight diffrent approach on the matter. I attach a relative photo

I know this is a very debated subject matter but I must add my rather extensive experience-based observations and opinion here. 

While I completely understand the random number generator concept and standard, I know for a fact that stopping reels effects outcome but I must quantify this with some examples and final outcome based realities I have concluded. 

1) Stopping reels on some providers has absolutely no effect of the outcome, it's clearly stated buried inside the games information tab. A good example of this is Microgaming as they state something along the lines of using the stop button only speeds up the ultimate outcome having no effect on the eventual outcome. 

2) Three providers off the top of my head, Boongo, Playson and Pragmatic Play will give you short term rewards/victories by manipulating your spins. This can be done by holding the spins button down longer, shorter, timed and sudden stops. From my experience, this is required if you want to get any chance of a win in a given session. What I mean by "win" is actually leaving the slot with a profit. 

3) Stopping reels on slots from my rather extensive playing clearly shows me, in the long run, you are actually hurting yourself. Sure, you might get lucky and hit a good win or two during a session but if you ultimately play the same slot in the future it will not give you huge payouts, at the most, you'll get 100x wins.  Again the caveat must be stated that this does not apply to all providers but I would say most of them. 

In closing, to have longevity in winning at slots it's best to be patient and let the game take its course and the RNG does its thing. I honestly believe some providers reward one's patience and tenacity with huge wins and punish those who might be impulsive and pushy.. This is clear in providers like Netent and Thunderkick as you can literally never play a particular game again at least at the casino you engaged in manipulation. I will ultimately yield sessions of doom. 

I realize the disagreements people might have but I'm just stating from experience. My last bit of advice is when gambling in general, leave your emotions completely out of the equation and forget about what others are doing. The only thing that matters at the end of the day is whether YOU win or lose. 

I totaly agree with you. Me personally I like to mess around with anythi g. Paylines, stopping reels, delayed stopping and my favorite is stopping the reels to get the 3rd scatter after i already have 2 on table.

• Netent, playngo, thunderkick(mobile) and most of all Bgaming really works out best for me. I even stop the reelsin bonus games but Yes its a HIT N RUN strategy. After a little while and a few bigwins I never see a bonus game for a while in the same ccasino.
•  I dont recomend this gameplay but it works for me and i ve seen patterns that work.
• For testing purposes open any netent slot and around the 10th spin you ll have 2 scatters on the 1st two reels, once the fourth falls stop the 5th :) 

I have had this same conversation with others and they say the same but obviously have different experiences or variations. With that said, the providers you mention are on my list as well. Play N Go can be brutal after the "hit n run" strategy. This is ironically the same phrase I use. 

As you say I don't recommend this gameplay but for POSSIBLE quick big hit it has worked for me.

Interesting about your Netent experience, I'll have to try that. By the way, regarding Dead or Alive I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT using this method. It will ruin the game at your casino of choice to the point you will never win.

Again, this strategy is dicey at best but for certain players and or circumstances, it may be applied. In other words, use with caution. 

All of my friend watch the way the streamers play, that s choosing a bet pressing autoplay and watch the game do its thing. The few times I ve played that way 1. I got bored in less than 10 minutes. 2. I watched my balance disappear 3. The essence of slots is that the player interacts with it. From the early slot machines in land based casinos that you pulled the handle till the modern ones I chose to play slots and bet my money not with the intention of becoming a millionaire (not that i wouldnt like it) but the main reason for everyone I think is the thrill. 

P. S. Yestesday after your post I was reading it  and I reach the pointt that you describe about pressing the spin button and for how long etc, while a friend is playing guns n roses from netent. He is like "you re both crazy" I tell him close the songs in the backround and you ll see he does and next 2 spins 150x bonus :p Now he is starting to have doubts :) 

That is quite hilarious but I have had this debate a lot in the past.

I feel the same way as just hitting auto play is boring making (to me) the whole experience a waste of time. I like the interaction and some developers reward you for actually "playing" the game. I find Chinese providers do this. Yesterday as a matter of fact I was about to get three big wins of 100x to 300x by using the method and spin variation. (IE holding the button down longer and faster) at various stages of the game. 

I used to play the original video games in the 1980s this way as that was the way to play them. I remember playing the old 25 cent games in the States for literally 1 hour on 1 quarter then having to go to school or work. I would let another kid resume the game at a super high level and he would be dead in seconds. 

I know others will read this and cry BS but I shall continue to do this selectively of course. And continue to cash out too.
