  • We've all been there, a fellow LCB member posted about a freebie, free spins or cash bonus and to your disappointment you didn't get the freebie and there are questions lingering in your mind why you didn't get it. We all tend to post the question (which most of us really did) in the thread or share the information that you didn't get the freebie which is considered as a spam and spamming is a big fat no no. So my question is, should the poster gains more information regarding their post before posting it in order to prevent spams? The more info the less headache and questions. The no deposit thread might get less spams due the new rules but I bet there will be more LCB members get banned from earning the LCB chips because of spamming. Other than gaining more information before posting, LCB should exclude this thread from the LCB chips in order to prevent LCB members get banned.

Looking forward to read your opinions.

  • Personally, when I open a no deposit thread that I'm interested in, I want to see the code or the information about the amount of FS. I 'm not happy when I need to turn the page in order to find what I'm looking for and that's only because people are writing things that no one cares about. LCB shouldn't exclude no deposit threads from lcb shop but people should just stop spamming.

I understand your point of view but don't you think excluding the particular thread from earning the LCB chips will reduce the spamming from non-interested players/chips hunters significantly? And therefore you don't need to turn the pages anymore?

  • Probably will but if they do that, the members who aren't spamming will not be rewarded. Which is unfair.

I couldn't agree more but sometimes you can't have it all and I think it's more efficient if LCB exclude the thread from earning the LCB chips, they have/had a hard time cleaning the thread from spams. There are a lot other thread where members can earn LCB chips for contributing to the website.

  • Personally, while I understand that rules are rules, myself I find the extra information posted helpful, denied based on geography? Only for depositors? Was it worthwhile? Any big wins? Cashout easy? etc.

Granted, spam for pennies sake is an issue regardless of what part of the forum it is in, but it is the social element of forums that draw me to them in the first place.

What I actually find irritating are the people who post in response to a legitimately helpful response with nothing but snark, bitchiness or teenage agnsty anger because they had to see a post that was on topic, but not directly a bonus... at least many of the comments are helpful.. that's a post a far cry worse and less productive IMHO.

But.. not my forum, not my rules, it is what it is.

  • It's only spam when it's not relevant and helpful to other members.  So comments like " I only won 30c...." is not relevant or helpful.  Comments such a "you must have deposited in the past to get this freebie" is relevant and helpful however the original poster should have included this info.  That said, a click on the "thank you" button suffices if nobody has anything relevant or helpful to add to the freebie.

I don't think it should be excluded from earning chips.  Removing irrelevant posts, removing rewards earned from those posts and sending warnings to members is a fair way to handle it and whilst this is a lot of extra work for admin, it will stop the worst offenders as  their actions WILL impact on their cash claims.

I understand your point. It is for me still unclear what to post, my last post was requested the poster to add more information about the freebie and got my post removed because it was not relevant, since then I did not post anything at the thread, I don't mind if my post is removed, I trust all admins that they know what they are doing. I still think poster should add information as much as possible before posting to prevent players from complaining why they did not get it. There are various promotion such as personal promotions that not avaliable for everybody, deposit now and get free spins the day after etc. An example, a fellow member post about a freebie from a casino and I went to live chat of the casino asking about the freebie and they were unable to find that particular promotion so I was assuming it was a personal promotion so it is not avaliable to everybody, such promo should not be posted there but that's my opinion but I noticed this subject is like a bottomless pit. Without additional info, how can you be sure that the promo is legit.

  • It is up to each poster to read and abide by the rules posted in ND section. For the reference see this link

As far as the bonuses, free spins, nd codes and so forth , we rely on members posting valid information. There is no way for LCB to test if all those posted bonuses would actually work each time and for each player.

Important thing which we all know, is not all bonuses work for all members. So ND section should be seen as space where you can find new codes or post codes that worked for you, with as much info regarding the bonus itself.
By giving thank you to the poster you can confirm that the bonus worked for you.

Now , what we do from here is gather all the codes posted at our forum and then publish them under our ND codes page. Here members can thumb up and thumb down these bonuses. If the number of thumbs down is greater ( we use specific ratio ) then such bonus is automatically removed from this page.

This is the easiest way for us to weed out whats good and whats not.

  • I think it should be allowed to reply if the code or free offer worked or not ...

In that way you can also filter out the "bad" posts ...

There are lots of times people post a no deposit and when I go checking it out it simply doesnt exsist!

I love to read from other members if they allready found that out; saves me some time right ?! :)
