Pregnant and Dating?

Hey all,

There's a show out called Pregnant and Dating. Pretty self explanatory right? I can't help but think it's inappropriate. Why can't these women wait until after they've had their babies and where's the fathers of these unborn children?

What are your thoughts on the issue in general? Also, to the guys, what would you do if you found out that a women you were on a date with was pregnant?

I guess I wouldn't have anything against dating a pregnant woman, life is complicated and men are know to take off when the going gets tough. Then again, don't know how much I know about dating at this point, haven't done that in years

Having not been in that position, it's a hard one to answer.  If the girl was "showing" and out looking for a man, that just seems so wrong but on the other hand, if the father has done a runner because she is pregnant, I guess her hormones are all over the place and she might be seeking some sort of comfort.  Tough one Froggy.

Even though I've never followed any reality shows on certain TV stations, I'm very tired just to think about them. And I still don't understand how all those different shows became so popular, have our lives become that boring?

No doubt that life's tough being single and pregnant, but I don't know why they made a show about it... I agree with Froggy - it's inappropriate.

Maybe they are looking for future husbands, or at least want to somehow explore the situation (let's be honest, most man won't really rush into dating a pregnant woman). Whatever the reasons may be, I wish them luck in any way they might need it

It's very bizarre. If a guy told me he had a woman pregnant and he was dating I would tell him to get lost!

I would have to say I don't really agree with it. I mean it would be kinda hard not depend on the 'new" guy your dating for help with certain things, especially if the father wasn't in the picture. I would not want to put that responsibility on anyone else and would be a little disturbing if the guy would be cool with falling into that roll.

heh heh it does seem like a strange fetish video. As a man there is no way I would want to date a pregnant woman. Just being honest. Unless you've got a think for pregnant women i don't get it. Its not to say that they dont have the right to date but it aint for me. Reminds me of Tatiana in The Change-up. Anybody seen that movie?

I found the site of that show. Sentences like: "..not letting her pregnancy slow her down". What the hell? Cant think anything good about a woman that thinks pregnancy is a burden, slowdown or whathever. That show is not only inappropriate but pointless as well from my perspective.

It puzzles me that they still haven't made a reality show with woman hiding their pregnancies, trying to date, and the winner is the one who keeps it a secret longer!

I had a buddy in college who had the hots for prego chicks. The baby could be in the oven for 9 months and he was on them women like white on rice. To each their own but i think it is warped.

Sounds a bit off kilter to have an attraction to pregnant women especially 9 months along. I am no psychiatrist but i would think there is some underlying problem going on!

As far as pregnant women wanting to date they do say the hormones are raging!

It's weird any way around, and I just couldn't justify it. Specially not a TV show promoting it. Then again, TV has gone far and beyond normal.

One woman on that show says that men seem even more attracted to her now that she's pregnant. WHo would've thought.

Well... for one reason ive been told... men can be so devious inside, angels on the outside devils in the inside.. he can have all the sex he wants cuz she can't get pregnant again,no baby momma drama cuz for sure its not his child, forgive me though not all men are like that
