    Progressive machines offer huge, life changing jackpots, but they often come at a higher cost. (i.e. $5, $10 dollars a spin) Does anyone out there play progressives, or do you opt to play machines with smaller jackpots to increase  your odds?  I've read that chances of winning a progressive jackpot have the same odds as winning your states lottery. However it is not impossible to win, and it has to be someone.  Do any of you out there play progressives? Have you had any luck? Have you ever won enough off them to feel like it changed your life?

    Hi PMM,

    I often steer away from progressives feeling defeated before i even sit down. Once in a blue moon i will play a progressive in Vegas that is tied into other casinos if its a penny machine. For a penny i will take a risk and go off into dream land with what i would if i won that astronimical number peering down at me.

    Progressive machines, as we know are tied together electronically with a string of other machines. It is incredibly random when people hit that jackpot, again, perfect time, perfect place, perfect moment. That RNG is always at work and I think if anyone does win the jackpot it is a guy or gal who sits down and just plays the machine a little vs someone who plays it all night.  Every coin someone plays increases that jackpot.  I do not play progressives either and I like how Lipstick stated it,"Feeling defeated before you sit down." That is how I feel as well. However, someone must win, and we all have that chance as well as any others.

    Hey PMM,

    It's hard enough to win a jackpot on just one machine must less a machine that is tied into many machines at various casinos. You are right someone has to win....Here's to hoping it will be me on that penny machine YAY!!!!
