    A British man went to his local shops to buy some alcohol and when paying for his goods at the checkout (booze), he was asked to prove that he was over 18.

    Incredibly the man is a 50 year old father of 3!

    I am sure people think that, but are too shy to speak when they see youre stunning personality..........

    But anyway, its crazy indeed, here we also have to proof we are above 16 to buy booze or cigarettes, (but they also never ask me blue  :'(  :'(  :'( )

    It may be something else. I remember when I was US, that there were few places that asked for my ID even if it was clear that I was over 21. And I did ask around a little bit, and was told that they practice to ask everyone for the ID, so they don't turn out to be discriminative (for example, someone does look older than his age, or the opposite). .

    I get asked once in a while and I think it's ridiculous. The penalty for selling to anyone underage though is hefty for a shop. But I'm sure a 50 year old man looked at least a couple years over 18. laugh_out_loud

    He surely looks great for a 50-year old but there's no doubt he's over 18.

    I look a bit younger than my actual age but I guess the early patches of grey hair suggest I'm in my 30s smiley
