Renewing License plates

Got the letter in mail, "Time to renew your auto tabs" (For non USA residents, every 2 years or so you have to renew the legality of your vehicle, this may include vehicle emissions if you car is less then 20 years old)

So, I had my paycheck deposited and so I have money so let's begin.
POP-UP #1 "BUY A DISCOVER PASS, IT'S ONLY $5" (Donation for State Parks) (Click on X to close window)

"Is the address current?" (No, I moved)

"You'll have to change it, go to this page"

POP-UP #2 "BUY A DISCOVER PASS, IT'S ONLY $5" (No thanks, click on X to close window)

"You need license plate, last 4 numbers of vin and last name" (OK, got it all as I have title in room)

POP-UP #3 "BUY A DISCOVER PASS, IT'S ONLY $5" (No thanks, click on X to close window)
(Data entered, computers changing address on file)

POP-UP #4 "BUY A DISCOVER PASS, IT'S ONLY $5" (No thanks!! click on X to close window)

"Now that you have changed your address, do you want to do more?" (Yes, renew tabs)

POP-UP #5 "BUY A DISCOVER PASS, IT'S ONLY $5" (No thanks!! you @#$%^ click on X to close window)

"To renew tabs, you need license plate, drivers license number and plate and last 4 numbers of VIN" (Data entered)

POP-UP #6 "BUY A DISCOVER PASS, IT'S ONLY $5" (WTF is this?? I said NO! Enough!! click on X to close window)

"How would like to process this?" (Send them to me)

POP-UP #7 "BUY A DISCOVER PASS, IT'S ONLY $5" (You %%$@#$%^&*!!!! click on X to close window)

"Your total is $48.75, subtract $5 if you don't wish to purchase a Discover Pass" (Deduct $5 and consider various torture for person who wrote this program)

Please enter your bankcard and information so we can charge your card" (Data entered)

POP-UP #8 "BUY A DISCOVER PASS, IT'S ONLY $5" (ARRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!! click on X to close window)

"Please correct erorrs on data, we couldn't process order" (Fogot to change address with bank, put in old addy)

POP-UP #9 "BUY A DISCOVER PASS, IT'S ONLY $5" (Now thinking of various ways to MURDER the person who wrote program click on X to close window)

"Your card has been charged, thank you and please wait 3-5 days for Tabs to arrive in mail"

(Called work, said wouldn't be in today, opened bottle of Jack Daniels and began drinking)

OMG genenco... that is so funny, I can just picture you steaming... one thing though, you wrote it very clearly and that makes me think you need to work harder with Mr. Daniels...

This is hilarious gene.  Probably wasn't for you at the time, but you gotta admit thinking about it later had to make you laugh.  The way of the world today!

On a side note, it is really cheap where you live to renew your plates.  Here it is $75 a year, every year.

every year here to and depending how new your car is it can be as much as $350 a year. That is funny though , i would of gave up and went down to the DMV and used the kyosk ( not sure how to spell it ). thanks for sharing

I'd be pretty furious by the time I got to the end of all that too Genenco.

Sorry to ask; what is a discover pass?

The Discover Pass allows you to enjoy nearly 7 million acres of Washington state-managed recreation lands – including state parks, water-access points, heritage sites, wildlife and natural areas, trails and trailheads.

The Discover Pass must be displayed on your vehicle when visiting state recreation lands managed by the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission, the Washington State Department of Natural Resources and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. The fine for not displaying the pass is $99.

Now, after all this you made it, with a little help from Jack.. got your plates out on a nice drive, enjoying the ride, got your smile on.. suddenly you are pulled over, the officer walks up and says.. i see you are not displaying a Discover Pass..
