SAY A LITTLE PRAYER FOR ME

Hello everyone dont mean to be a bummer but they say sometime if you if you talk about things it help relieve the pressure.  I care for my uninsured brother whom has full blown aids and probally wont live much longer because he is very ill and needs multiple medications just to make him comfortable and prolong the inebidable all of which with the small income and no insurance i have to contanly make life and death decision medication for him or pay the light and electric bills and always his well being comes first. My electric bill is $2,760 due to multible defered payment plans that i have to keep defaulting on because of his medication. Now the electric company has refused to negosiate any more and has demanded payment in full which natually i simply have no way of paying so when the sun comes up today the last shred of comfort i have will be taken away because my electricty will be shut off and i will be honest i am very afraid cant sleep because i am trying to keep daylight from coming just think a miracle for me right now would be a best friend who worked for commonwealth edison electricity company. I was always told if you were a good person with a good and honest heart who had faith and trusted in god almighty he would make a way but it seems like the 11th hour and doubt is begining to creep in and the light light

So sorry to hear of your plight wackymac.  I do hope that something comes along for you so you can continue to look after your poor brother and keep the electricity on. 

Is there nobody that can help you?  I hope you manage to sort something out and Im sure all of us here at LCB will be thinking of you and your brother.

Sorry for your plight, you can go to Social Services and they should be able to get your electricity back for you. You are lucky that the electric company let you go so long without paying the bill, most places shut it off after 2-3 month non-payments. I hope things get better for you.

I agree, the SS might have some recourse. That due to a terminally ill person there's the "Living Conditions" that if they are to remove "Light and heat" could put them in a bind legally.

I encourage you to contact them. They can light a path.
