    Discovered by two miners looking for lead, these amazing crystal-lined caves could be mistaken for Superman's ethereal Arctic lair.
    These stunning white beams of gypsum have been growing at a snail's pace for hundreds of thousands of years in caves below Naica in Mexico.
    I have been to Howe Caverns and Carlsbad Caverns; what caves have you guys been to?

    Incredible Nan.

    I've visited some caves in Cheddar Gorge down in the West Country and it was pretty amazing.

            My husband and i have seen documentarys on the Secret Crystal Caves  in Mexico ,and they are truely a wonder of the world ! What caused so many of these crystals to form in one area like this,and are there such caves like these else where ?

    i have went into some of the caves in Mexico and they are incredible. I especially liked the caves we could swim in. It's amazing how clean that water is. I never saw this though and sure wish i had.

    Lips, I have seen pictures and videos of the waters in mexico, on the gulf of mexico side, and it was so blue, it was magical.

    I also would love to go to Belize and see this -
