Some free advice (donations welcome though)

Never, never, never play Blackjack on Senior Citizens day. Never.

Or any other table game for that matter. It will feel like a slow death but you will live to regret it. Now, I've got nothing against senior citizens per se. After all, every one of us is headed that direction anyway. I just don't want a whole gaggle of 'em at my blackjack table - and every other blackjack table in the place. Things were slow with the particular dealer we had to begin with, who herself is fast approaching senior citizenry. But they became downright stagnant with a whole table full of 'em babbling on and on at her about everything under the sun except blackjack, and her happily stopping the game and babbling right back with 'em. There were many moments when I was just barely able to stop myself from pulling a John McEnrow and yelling "YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS! YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS!! ARE WE PLAYING CARDS HERE, OR IS THIS A FAMILY F**KING REUNION!?" They were doing everything but pulling out wallets full of baby pictures!

And of course, all of this is taking place when I'm down about half my buy-in and there's very little time left 'till I'll be forced to leave.

Lesson learned. Avoid Senior days.

Oh you poor thing .... i can understand your feelings.. although i do respect the elders with all due respect.. and im always very patient... but LMMMAAAOOOOO... @ "a whole gaggle of them" playing blackjack... ooh my goodness!

I now know what to call the rovering bands of senior citizens trolling the streets.

Oh my, what an experience for you to suffer through.  It did make me chuckle though, and I thank you for sharing this.

Ya know you could have been talking about my mother and her 2 brothers and sister. They all meet once a month at a casino in Atlantic City, and they do the same crap. To funny can't wait to show her this post. I can't stop laughing here, this is just to funny.

No if you were to say something to them they would say F' You in Italian and then talk about ya like you weren't there. I have seen them do that also.  The best part is they all think they are Black Jack experts and none of them are that great it. BAHAHAHAHAHA
