    1.  The zipper.  I just explained this in the school thread.

    2.  Twilly.  In high school I received this nickname after Miami Dolphins receiver Howard Twilly.  I have the same 1st name as him and when we played American football I was slow and small but had hands of gold like the real Howard Twilly.

    3.  Spud.  In 1988 the Bud Light mascot was a white bull terrier named Spud Mckenzey.  I started collecting Spud Mckenzey stuff.  For Xmas that year my psycho wife at the time bought me a white bull terrier and I named her Spudzy.  For years my bowling buddies called me Spud.

    4. HB.  My whole life and up til today my parents call me this after my 1st and middle name.  Ever since I can remember my family never used real names or called our parents mom and dad.  It was Deary for my mom, Bud for my dad and Joe for my sister.

    My mom called her parents mommy and daddy until they both died.  I loved that.

    I didn't have any nicknames.  Gabby was enough.  My real name is Gabrielle and NOBODY had that name growing up.

    I had just two nicknames until now: Johnny (that's not my real name, you know...) - given by one of my friends in school and Mickey - given by my wife who is still using it even though it annoys me at times. But don't worry, I got back and gave my wife around 30 different nicknames which seem to annoy her smiley

    My hubby calls me "trolley" which is actually a bit of an insult because it is short for trollop although I know he can't possibly mean it....well i hope not anyway.
