    Hi Members,

    In the last couple of weeks i have been getting very strange emails. What is making them strange is that the sender is actually MY email address!

    I keep receiving emails about sexy meds and viagra! Each time i get these emails the sender is "from" and to me!

    Does anyone know how it is possible to send an email using my email address as the sender?

    I have several email accounts and it is only happening at one account. Any ideas or others having the same prob would be greatly appreciated.

    I get them too at one email address only.  I didn't think anything of it as it was in my Spam, so I just deleted without looking at it.  Maybe someone can tell us the origin

    I am just wondering if there is a program out there that deflects the real sender and hides the addy. Makes me worry someone may have compromised my acct. But then again would they be this dumb to send emails to me the acct they compromised?

    Someone is forging your email address. They aren't using your actual email ACCOUNT just your ADDRESS.

    There's not much you can really do about it. But the thing you should definitely do is contact your ISP and let them know what is going on. In case it is spam and someone reports your address to your ISP. They should be able to see right away it's forged, but better safe than sorry.

    Oh my lord...I get about 10 to 15 emails in fact, I just got three more right after I deleted tons last night-Re:.Get~xxxctilE*pillS>-Pearlie WHITE,
    HHQQCCiialisFromALiccensedPhamrmacy.No_presrcpitionN, blah blah blah~~~
    What really makes me mad is that they usually don't go to spam folder, they somehow go straight to my inbox and yes, I have tried everything to remove them and moved them to spam folder before trash them but like mommy said, there's nothing I can do about this...every one of them are from different sender's name...UGH....these bas*** are too darn sneaky!!! >:(

    I get the same emails and I just delete them.  Never thought to see where they actually come from.  I never open them

    I've received emails from people that I know and I know it isn't them writing the email.  For a starter the English is very poor - it couldn't possibly be them, the content is spammy too but they sign it with the senders real name.

    There must be some sort of program that does this - that or that person has a virus.

    It's very annoying and as you say Lips, worrying.  I've not received any from me yet!
