    Hi LCB Members,

    I am not sure if anyone else has the cameras to nail you at intersections but as luck would have it......Chicago has more cameras installed than any other city in the country......and it sucks.

    If you dont make a complete stop at the red light to turn right...bammm the camera flashes a pic of your car........didnt stop behind the white line at a intersection....your being snapped again.......go thru a yellow lite and it turns red......your nailed!!

    Once there was a guy who got a ticket in the mail for going thru a red light...actually it was a cop behind him that did it. After months of fighting his case...he finally won. If there is a pic taken....then why is it so hard to prove? The red tape....fighting the system is near impossible. It gained so much media recognition that the court had to play fair.

    I think cameras at intersection are going too far......what do you think?

    I don't think it's possible now. But there used to be a spray you used on your license plate.

    You spray it on and it lasted for 3-5 months. Snap a pic of plate..NO GOOD it gave a "flashback" result (Flareout) to the camera and you didn't get "Caught"

    If they caught you with the stuff, I think it was simply "Seizure" of the bottle. BUt I think they finally raised it to a fine and such.

    Wow my eyes lit up like a christmas tree when i read your post!!! I have not heard of that nice little trick. I am gonna ask around and be on a mission now!!! What a clever idea....it has to be available under the table some where.

    Hey Lips, where I use to live in the Bay Area, we had them for as long as I can remember, the flash can almost blind you.
    We don't have them in this little town of less than 15,000, but what we do have are 76 "Eyes in the sky" they are cameras throughout town that are monitored by the police department.  When I went to the PD on a field trip with my sons school, we actually got to look at the screen that monitors them, you could see the brand of cigarettes someone had on the seat of their car.  I would rather have intersection cameras any day of the week.
