Stupid Laws: Fines for poor aim in public urinals!

Officials in Shenzhen, which is a big city in China, will fine public toilet users 100 yuan (that's around 16 dollars) if they are deemed to have failed to urinate accurately in city facilities.

The law will come into force next month but it fails to clarify who exactly will enforce the new rules. Maybe there will be an inspector looking above the urinating man's shoulder to judge his aim!?!? Maybe they will show marks at the end of the performance, like the judges in figure skating?

A city government official said the new regulation was designed to curb the "uncouth use of a public toilet". Great thinking

LOL that is crazy and surely unenforceable.  What if the guy before "missed" and the guy that walks in afterwards gets done for it...I can't see it working.  Now I'm thinking about what I'm writing and it just seems so crazy LMAO.

All this is quite hilarious. But seriously, I have seen public toilets in the past in such condition that it looked like hell itself opened under me, and I even had to pay for them! Something surely needs to be done, but I dont believe this is the way

They should start having monthly awards for the "best" and "worst" aimer 

Toilets should also be "drop" sensitive, where alarms and lights start going off. That will make guys be more careful next time instead of getting the embarrassment of their life

This is really funny. I'm only waiting now to see how they are going to enforce that. law. Who knows, perhaps people will be more careful now.

This is ridiculous. There are people on staff to clean toilets so if necessary hire more. Fining people is insane. Heck yeah it's rude to pee all over the toilet or not flush your business but fining something like this will be hard to do. The US has photo enforced traffic stops. You must stop on the line or the camera will capture your license plate and you will receive a lovely ticket in the mail. Maybe China intends something similar in the toilet with a sign that says "If we can see you, you're doing it wrong".

Maybe they will install a huge wall-mirror behind the urinals, and have a special team behind it, just to inspect the accuracy.
