It reminds me of when I was a little Nalgenie...and my father taught me how to play craps when I was 4 years old.  I still remember my mother, horrified  .
There was dad and me on the floor rolling dice, and Mom asked what I was doing, and I said "little Joe"...I don't remember what happened, but I remember the yelling.

Hahahahahaha... memories!

I was taught at a very young age that almost anything could be bet upon for money.
It was an art form to my Father.  Poker was the only game in my house and although I was not allowed to play of course, if I were were quiet I could watch the game. The faces of the men were stern and serious. No laughing and joking like you see on televison sitcoms. I remember the sound of the chips as they were thrown to the middle of the table. Even at that young age, I remember it was for "real" money and what I would do to have that money.  That maybe someday I could sit at that table and throw chips to the pot. Well, I never grew up to be a poker player, but I did inherit the gambling gene, and I gamble reguarly, even in everyday situations, as I have shared previously on here. The noise, or lack there of, the faces, the phrases, the body language, all stuck with me to this day. I knew it was something special, it was perhaps my first experience in what I thought was "magical." POKER!!!
