The 99 Cent Store

I ummmm.... gee..
Walked in thinking this should be fun, WOW every item 99 cents!
Get a few things, i won't spend that much...

This is all i'm going to say....
"Mom how on earth did you spend 150.00 at the 99 cent store?"

I spent 150.00 at the 99 cent store, does this happen to
anyone else?  :-\

I've never spent quite that much but I definintely love dollar stores.  I can see myself spending twice that if I had the money to do it though lol.

This is one of the stores I was looking into buying...everyone buys this crap

I do shop at the Dollar store occasionally. I think we all do. I must say I find that the quality of the merchandise is, less than perfect.
        You get what you pay for you know?  When your only paying a buck for something you don't get much. 
      Like I remember buying laundry detergent there once when I was on college and broke as a joke. This stuff was as thin as water, and I think I would of gotten the same results if I hadn't used any soap at all. 
      Now I buy things like Greeting cards, and wrapping paper there. I leave the important things like Laundry soap to the Brand names.

They had alot of planters, flowers, decoratives for outside
Alot of craft items too

And yes cheap soaps n stuff i didn't go for, but they
did have alot of name brand items for a BUCK!
Lots of candy and gum, alot of different types of
stationary.. i went crazy

I didn't like their toys.. way to cheapie for me.. EXCEPT
the little plastic chairs with the decal on the seat..
and the ping pong paddle ball, and the punch balls!!

they are only good for quick stuff..maalox, aspirin, batteries, soap..stuff you can't screw up.  (and of course the cheese curls)

hey, if they have those paddle balls..that is a big plus, and bubbles..and i got a cool squirt gun there too.  scare my dad with it almost every night...it was worth all  .99 cents

its the BEST, because it looks like a little robot.  i have my dad up for dinner almost every night, and one of us pick it up and puts it near his face and he just jumps out of his seat...its like my nightly entertainment
one of these nights i am actually going to fill it, and he is really going to be in for a surprise
