The Holidays are gone……no more hustle bustle. No more parties……..no more magic in the air. We take down are trees and decorations and pack them til next Christmas. All we are left with is the cold months of January and February.
I always seem to crash after the holidays. The after holiday blues……..got to try to shake em this year! After all before we know it, our flowers will be growing and the birdies will be tweetin!
I think I just put another quarter in the juke box………Don’t worry be happy!!!!!

Lips.. Yes i always feel exhausted and blue.. wishing we could go back to the day before Christmas, or New years Eve and do it again and again!
To leave the Christmas Tree and ornaments, the lights around the roof rim of the house, the decorations and candles, the cards and the wrapping paper.. just leave it there.. keeping the spirit and cheer of Christmas..
That last cookie on the plate...
But you know what, by the time we are rested up and feeling all right.. got it all put away guess what?...

There is so much excitment in the air before the Holidays. Never enough hours in the day to get everything done, and your always moving at an accelerated pace during this time.
Then the end of it comes, and suddenly I am forced to slow down. No need now to run everywhere in a single day. All these things that had to be done are no longer on the agenda. I find myself struggling to adjust to that. Slowing down suddenly becomes a difficult thing to do. Once I finally get there I am better.
Yet then I look around at the cold outisde, the calender, and realize I have all this time now to fill before the wonderful sounds and signs of Spring come to stay. That is the hardest for me, filling that time. I do however have LCB, and Gambling, and a great love for both.
