The Art of finding the right Potato chip!!!

Hiya LCB'ers,

I just got through eating lunch. A turkey sandwich and potato chips. I look deep in the bag for just the right kind of chips.

The art of choosing just the right potato chips takes riffling through the bag. Mine have to be light with NO dark chips for me!! And i love the chips that are folded in half!!

Plain potato chips with no fancy seasoning, and no ridges in them with one exception unless i am having dip with it!

My favorite chips are Lays brand or Vitners which i really hard to find around unless its in a gas station!

What is your perfect chip and brand?

depends, bbq with pork and beans. or doritos on my sandwich. Other than that, I love the fatfree pringles for everyday munchin'

BAKED! Lay's southwestern ranch chip...woo~yummy!!! a little spicy but that's the point.

Lays or Pringles---salt n vinegar takes 1st place over other flavors..

Quick funny note- on Valentines day I was eating chips, and my daughter noticed the one I was about to eat was in the shape of a heart! And I mean, CLEARLY the shape of a heart. My husband joked," Quick, list it on Ebay!'...Ya know, I actually thought about it for a minute- but couldnt find a way to ship it out so it wouldn't break. So I just ate the pretty thing. haha

and i also like the ones folded in half...they are called "wish chips" lips
when you get one, you get to make a wish.  don't ask me...someone told me this stupid thing so  many years ago..it stuck 

I like banana chips
cuz I like sweet chips, salt chips make you thirsty. the new Xtreem Chilli Pringles chips also very delightful
Hot and sweet are my favorite flavours with a bottle of Heineken beer

Banana chips are sooooo good too! Another sweet favorite is chocolate covered potato chips........sigh!!!

Whats with the folded chips?? I refuse to eat a folded chip- or one with a "bubble' in it. I'm always afraid It's going to break the wrong way, and I'm going to choke on it. Funny, but true.
Oh, and I don't do the brown chips either!

well, then you would love the chip hor' dervers we make at birthday parties... softened brigham vanilla ice cream, dip the chips then put a tiny piece of cake on top...yum!! hehe

ac...you have my eyes watering over here!  what's with the folded chips..hehe.  i used to dig thru the bag and find them.  my brother would save them for me.  they are "special"  chips...you would never choke on them!! hahahahahaha!!  ya..brown sucks...ruins the whole chip experience    you know i only eat them about 3 times a year, so they have to be just right!!

I love the making a wish on the folded chip!!  I have never heard of that. It certainly would be a good way to cut back on my chip eating as i would have to stop to make a wish after each one.

My daughter, God bless her, is unaware of certain social nono's. One being that other people's food is NOT fair game. We were at my brothers, my daughter walks into the kitchen, grabs their bag of bbq lays and proceeds to plop herself down on their couch and eat their big bag. I guess being autistic can have it advantages. She can't tell you off, but I pity the person who tries to take her chips.

i actually just discovered blue cornchips.  i saw an oprah shop once, an she said how much she love them.  so i bought a bag of organic ones a couple weeks ago...
definately yummy.  and i ate the whole bag, something i never, ever do.

Just do not give me the cheap chips!!! I love Cape Cod Potato Chips_ because that is where I moved from! They are crunchy and I have been to one of the factorys in Hyannis! Lots of care put into them-
