The best movie franchise according to the gamblers

Hi there!

I have seen lately the discussion about your favourite TV series and started a topic StarGate x StarTrek x SG.
Well it came to my mind that it would be interesting to know what's the best Movie franchise according to gamblers. And I don't mean gambling movies or gambling related movies only. I mean any movie franchise that comes to your mind. It would be interesting to know if there is something we, gamblers, have in common besides gambling. 

So feel free to share your thoughts, your favourites and reasons. Let's have some nice chat (and don't forget to vote in poll)!

Quite a few of my favourites in your list.  The Mummy series and James Bond would be "other" choices.

My top 10 won't include too many of the franchise movies but here they are (in no particular order).  They are my top 10 because I can (and have) watched them over and over without getting bored.

Robocop
Kevin and Perry Go Large
The Day after Tomorrow
As good as It Gets
Terminator II
Mission Impossible (all of them)
San Andreas
Ronin
Leon
Dial M  for Murder (in fact most of Hitchcock's films)

I must add all the James Bond movies too (except The Living Daylights). 

I'll go for Alien, and maybe Indiana Jones, I loved the franchise as a kid and I love Harrison Ford so... 

And Jurassic Park is one of my all time favorites, but only the first one from 1993, the rest not so much.

Star Trek is my favorite franchise, followed by Lord Of The Rings. I guess I love Sci Fi genres. A good Other franchise would be the Back To The Future series.

My favorite movies Housesitter, then Bladerunner. Then followed in no particular order by The Cutting Edge, My Father The Hero, Lost In Space, Diggstown, and (Where) Fools Rush In.

Is there any franchise you love as the serie but then there is one movie (one part of it) you actaully kinda hate?

my favorite movies are the godfathe. all of them are really good but my favorite is godfather1.

 I can't believe what a nerd I am.   When I saw my selections  that left little doubt.  So many movies to choose from.   My favorite genre is definitely sci-fi.
