The LCB Shop has Launched, BUT...

Hiya LCB'ers,

the shop can be found HERE or simply by clicking on the top right header with your name on it ( Redeem credits ).

The rules about the shop will be announced later on, however the LCB chips can already be earned by doing various contribution to forum and rest of the site ( rating reviews , commenting etc ).

However we have noticed that in the past 24 hours there has been an increased abuse of our rating system hence why we are introducing daily limits of 20 ratings , all this in order to prevent those members taking an advantage of this offer.

We will address each of these members within next 24 hours as we already received redeem requests.

All the ratings and chips earned out of it, from 12pm CET today that are exceeding 20 day/limit will be waved.

Please note that the LCB shop is not designed to make an easy buck and to take an advantage over LCB but rather to award our loyal membership and also entice them to contribute more but also to get them rewarded for what they already are and have been doing on a daily basis.

The chips already given to members are shown at the top right corner, and they are calculated for the past 24 hours.

So some may have more chips than others given their activity in the past day or so.

We have tried to implement and calculate the previous month's activity but that turned out to be too much of a challenge and nearly impossible to do.

HOWEVER do not stress, as will be manually crediting FREE LCB chips/points. The amounts will be determined by each members stats in terms of the post count.

We will announce tomorrow how these chips points will be calculated and then we will ask all of you to private message us and request these chips/lcb money, which will then manually be credited.

It is very useful to know more - i had a feeling you would set a daily limit, i think it is the best approach - but also, there is only so many casinos to rate anyway, so there would only be a max number of cents to redeem.

Actually touching on this note about the ratings system, what if a member rates the same casino twice or 3 times in a day or a week, will it be counted once or will people be able to keep rating the same casino and getting the cents for it??

just thought i would bring this to your attention in case you didnt think of this too

yes you raise a good point about the rating and changing your vote back and forth. Once rated that will be it, and member won't be able to earn points from rating the same casino over and over again.

Also regarding post and comments, we do have min character limit, however their quality will also be valuated, as we sure will not award chips for useless and spammy comments.

But all that and more will be explained in my next announcement most likely by tomorrow morning.

Ok good to hear and know, i just dont want to see new members start trying to take advantage of this awesome community and could cause damage, but i do hope it helps make the community bigger and for the right reasons and not for the wrong reasons

Don't get me wrong, I know how things work and whats the thinking behind this. However it is something that we absolutely will not tolerate and will do everything in order to prevent any further potential abuse.

We offer something unique and it is a gesture of our appreciation to our community. Naturally we do see our own interest here in terms of member engagement. This is not a secret and hence why we designed the shop for everyone's pleasure.

We get you guys to be more engaged  and you guys get rewarded for it. It is a win win for all.

And on top of it you actually get rewarded for the things you have already been doing more or less.

And this is exactly why we will have ZERO tolerance for the abuse.

                Thanks Zuga,  I have to admit, no I haven't been in cave but I just found about this shop very recently and think it's a great idea.  Great incentives to get more involvement  in the forum.  Will there be more  sites to redeem chips in the future?  don't get me wrong, I love the ones up there already.  RJ,  good point but I think that  will become fairly obvious very soon. 

You could limit the shop somehow to certain newbie user groups maybe, or even the date of joined so they will have to make an effort to earn full shop privileges ? good idea or no ?

Could I have my current credits balance reduced?

I did do a lot of ratings, but I did message you Zuga about some issue regarding it. Perhaps my ratings were seen as abuse, but like I put in the PM, I read "rating slots and games = 10 cents".

As I mentioned, I went through the list of slots and only rated games I know and have played (Not just blind clicking slots I don't even know), I.e Immortal romance was given a higher rating as I love that slot, whereas fisticuffs was given a low rating as whenever I played it, it gave me mostly dead spins and highest win was barely 2x bet. Thunderstruck was rated slightly higher than TS2 as I always preferred the original.

I was thinking myself to be honest after doing the ratings that it felt a bit too "incentive based" instead of rewarding members for what they already do, which I gather was away from the aim of the shop. That's why I didn't claim anything with the shop cash I have built up so far (Also because I didnt know if that possible bug I reported to you was actually correct, so I thought I was gaining double credits when I tried clicking 3 star and it only did 2.5, so I corrected it to 3).

Perhaps it was just the wording of how to earn cash that made me think it was fine:

"Here are details on how to earn LCB chips by contributing to our site:"
"rating slots and games = 10 cents"

So I guess it seemed like it was actively encouraging members to do ratings and post more to gain more shop credits.

"In case of abuse we reserve the right to forfeit any or all chips acquired this way, without prior notice to members."

"Abuse" seemed more in regards to making posts. Like if a member posted a few extra mixed up/nonsense words in order to try and reach the 50 minimum characters and be credited with the shop cash.

Could you correct my balance now though? Instead of showing what it shows, I think it should show instead around 60 cents + $2 for the ratings with the new 20 ratings a day cap.... so $2.60, thanks

or are they going to be considered to be like a regular deposit and will they have a max. cashout?

            Yes I am,  I have accounts at both and I know they usually limit the freebies to $25 if you haven't made a deposit in a certain time frame.  I just don't know what they would consider this.

Another dynamite idea Lcb well played my friends ! I like to play free slots sometimes just to try them out before I play them for real normally if I really dislike a game in free mode highly unlikely I'm going to play it for real

Oh my this is great and thank you LCB. Just a note, my posting has increased because i have been a long time member and i feel it is time for me to move to the next level.I  am so glad that there is now a max post as far as the shop is concerned because i do not want to do anything that could be viewed as abuse of this very generous offer.

Yeah I can understand that and it's great of you to offer us things like a shop and all of the contests. My apologies again.

Perhaps it could be set up where it is not mentioned how members can earn money in the shop.

Almost instead of saying "you can earn cash in the shop by...." which especially to new members will make them only want to be here to earn as much cash as they can and not take part in things of their own free will.

It could say "You will earn cash in the shop by being a member here" without being specific as to what earns cash and how much cash it earns members. So then for example new members wont think "I see, 10 cents per 50 character forum post... i'll try and do as many 50+ character posts as I can today".

These are some great news, and I love to see the Shop up and running!
Some minor adjustments, and it will be even better. I think that it is a great idea to reward people for their involvement in the community, and I hope it will make everyone happy!

I find this idea with the shop amazing, as long as there's a daily limit on post/ratings/comments. I remember in the past (during the contests) we had some bad newly-members who were joining only for the cash and that's unacceptable. I love this community, always had since i first joined here, LCB has the best  promos, offers, contests, people, that's why i bet that Zuga and the LCB's staff are working to create a safe and healthy way for us ALL to be happy and enjoy everything LCB has to offer trough this shop and not only Thanks!
