The silliest thing you ever thought?

When i was in grade school our class went on a trip to a small city animal farm, we saw chickens, pigs, cows, horses, ducks and various other type farm animals to learn what they are and what they do,also how a farm works. Well along with these animals there was this big ass bull behind a big den fence inside a giant barn (i was little, so everything was very big). We were taking a tour inside this barn and i came up to the fenced-in bull who had it's head over the fence, just staring and chewing something. I kind of walked away from the class to observe this gigantic animal, to have a better look i stepped up on the outer fence which was about another foot from the fence he was behind. As i stepped up i was face to face with it, as soon as this happen he blew out his nose (like a mad bull does) so hard it blew me down off the fence, at the same time i was taking in a breath. Good lawd i would of paid the devil my soul for can of frebreeze, it was the funkiest stale smell i ever endured, it was snotty too. I was on the ground choking and coughing from this foul odor, the teachers came over to see if i was all right, as the other kids were circled around me too, i told her i'm okay still trying to get fresh air in, then asked, am i going to die.. the teacher giggled some and said no silly.. i said, no i mean, really am i going to die? I think his breath disillusioned me.. The whole rest of the trip i really thought i was going to die, that night until morning i finally realized i wasn't.

I actually thought i was going to die from this bull blowing his breath on me.. it was the silliest tramatic experience i ever thought!

Anyone ever have the silliest thing you ever thought?

Back in the days when Bluebeard had peach fuzz and sex education was unheard of I got the nerve up to ask my mother where babies come from...

Well being a very different era than today's out there tell all society, my mother, rather embarrassed but determined to give me some information, gave me a short birds and bees speech.

At the end of this very short narrative she said, "And then the baby comes out here." While she says this she makes a sweeping gesture with her hand down near her lap...

Oh, I say while trying to look like I had understood all she had said... and as she turned back to what she had been doing, I walked away sorting through this new information... I now knew that babies come out of your thigh... and that was what I thought for a very long time...

My earliest silly thought was as a little girl I thought that thunder was God riding his little 3 wheeler bicycle in heaven and the lightening was Him turning the light switch on and off.  How daft is that!

When I was a kid, around 3 or 4 years old, I explained to my parents how babies are born: "some of the food that a woman eats is stored in her belly and when there's enough food there it takes the shape of a baby and then it comes out". They laughed, obviously, and that kinda pissed me off because I was absolutely sure that my theory was correct.

My great grandma always told us if you ate a watermelon seed it will grow in your belly.  I believed that for along time and I made sure to  spit my seeds out.
