    The infancy of idea of the Amero Dollar makes me think of the vasly monumental and potentially beautiful possibility in our time, To think could this be in coin format that is much more lasting in durability versus the paper dollar, could this be the first high tech coin and masterpieces sold for the idea to the brightest touches to the design of them?

    I'd not even heard of it Tim until your post. It sounds pretty much like the Euro and I have to say, they shouldn't do it.  Fortunately, the UK did not switch to the Euro and I hope they never do. 

    Is the Amero really coming?

    There is a possibility but I don't personally think it would be a good idea for both US and especially for Canada sorely because they would have to give up its control of domestic inflation and interest rates but then again anything is possible. wink

    With the US dollar being so weak, i think the Amero is more masterminded then a "masterpiece". Change is tough and i am not too sure i like the idea of the "Amero". It may seem at the moment anything is better then what we have now with the dollar so weak but i think there is a method to the madness......

    certainly a definite plus to the transitional buy in to the Amero would be a control regulatory inflation asset to be gained for the governing body... of course there is always the ethical fundamental theory of governing bodies involved in any control of the currency
