Thrilled!

Just over 18 months ago, a woman fell over and broke her elbow and was signed off work for 8 weeks.  During this time she was a bit bored and decided to follow 4 witty English people on Twitter.

One of these English people was my younger brother.  After many tweets to each other, which then turned into phone texts and phone calls, things started to turn "serious".  After a year of this, they decided it was time to meet up.  Six months after they decided to meet up, they finally got together when my bro flew off to her.  Four weeks ago, they travelled back to England together where this woman was to spend a month in the UK.  

I just found out this morning that my little bro popped the question on bended knee yesterday morning and they are engaged to be married.  I've never seen my brother so happy and to say that it filled my heart with absolute joy is an understatement.  My new "sister in law to be" is a fantastic person and she completes my brother in so many ways.

I just felt I wanted to share this with you guys and gals because I'm just so thrilled with the news.

I'm so happy for them, blue! I just love romantic stories, especially internet ones for some reason. Maybe it's cos they have to work harder at it..? I've been wondering about Froggy. Did she and hubby meet on here? I've  read a few posts about her getting hitched but it really never told the whole story.

That is so sweet, blue.  And it would be interesting to know if any LCB romances have been made and if they made it into a marriage.

Of course, now they'd be in the same household and someone would have to give up their casino accounts!

A true romance constructed by two people who met through the wires and traveled around to be together...ahhh.....I love the stories like this.

PS love must be in the air.  My youngest daughter just updated her status from "single" to "in a relationship"!  She's almost 21 and hasn't really had any relationship to speak of so I am happy for her as well as for all the other young lovers out there.

Sadly, they shed tears yesterday too as she had to fly back to her country.  She will be back in December and at some point will be moving to England permanently.  I guess Froggy knows all about the mass of paperwork that goes into being a permanent resident in the UK.

That's a nice thing to hear on my lousy day over here, now my day wasn't so bad reading this happy occurance. Thanks Blue for the uplift!
