Today I got the card

OK, so I awoke, took a shower and then headed off to Wal-Mart. Well, after 35 minutes of bus travel (This was fast!) I arrived at the store. I first checked on Scanners and copiers. They had a Canon for $50 which did scan/fax/copy and print..Ohhh tempting!

Anyway, I then made my way to the front and told the checkers what I wanted. One smartly said "Yes Sir, One moment!" and grabbed this deck of cards which had a ring binder through them. She gave it to me and I looked at it.

"That's what you wanted right" she chirped.

"No, I wanted the card, these are your instructions on how to process these sales" I replied.

Poor lady went BEET red and she then put the card back and then found the card I wanted. Then, she OPENED the package (The card section) and her manager about defecated on the spot. "Oh damn, he's supposed to do that when he gets home!" she said.

Lady went deeper beet red.

Finally, I got out of there and did ask the manager NOT to seriously reprimand the checker. she said she'd ignore it as she was new to the store. I chuckled all the way to Jantzen Beach.

I had a heck of a time with the machines (Lost though still not bad) and finally after 5 hours, was able to wrench myself from them, bought a MO for land payment and lost some more and finally got home and entered the info, so in 7-10 days I'll have the perm one and will be "Allowed" to deposit with it I hope.

I still need to get to a copier place (Office depot/max whichever) and have the stuff scanned. Next 2 weeks, have to buy 2 $250 MO for rent and everything will be fine. What a wild start to the day...

(P.S. I had already typed this and lost power for a brief moment, but it was enough to reset computer..Arrrgggg!!)

Hey Gene,
The temp card will work fine for deposits as well, just be sure to keep it in case of a withdrawal from those deposits. Once the permanent card arrives, if you have no pending withdrawals on the temp you can trash it.

Hmmm...I thought someone had said that it wasn't usable for overseas till the hard card came..Guess they meant for withdraws.

May check that out this week.
