Top Movies About Gambling and Casinos?

As a fan of gambling and the casino industry, I've noticed that these themes are frequently portrayed in films and television shows. I'm in the mood to watch something new, and I thought, “Hey, the lcb community is passionate about gambling, they must have some great recommendations!”

I'm on the lookout for some hidden gems—movies or series that delve into the world of gambling and casinos. So far, I've seen titles like Casino, Rounders, 21, Croupier, and Ocean's Eleven :).

What are some other underrated films or series that revolve around gambling or casino settings that you loved and would recommend? I'm curious to hear about what you've watched and what you think deserves a viewing! :)

One underrated gem I always recommend is Mississippi Grind!

It’s gritty, soulful, and a bit melancholic, with a haunting atmosphere that sticks with you. 

You can try Uncut Gems with Adam Sandler . Also Molly's game and Dead Money . I hope some of these suggestions are worth watching. Casino was sooooo good i really enjoyed that movie. 

I saw many movies about gambling, but my favourite is "the sting", watched at least 5 times. 

Hangover, my guilty pleasure

Maybe not a classic gambling movie, but I love the chaos of Vegas in it!

The House, comedy

Great topic! If you haven't seen it yet, I recommend Mississippi Grind, a truly underrated film with an incredible atmosphere. I also really liked Owning Mahowny and the Luck series, which really delve into the psychology of gambling.

Excellent choices! Mississippi Grind is truly a gem—the atmosphere and performances are perfect. I'm also going to check out Owning Mahowny and Luck ; they sound totally my style.

Let It Ride (1989), a totally silly, light-hearted ride through horse race betting mishaps. Not a die-hard gambling movie, but a die-laughing kind of film, thanks mostly to Richard Dreyfuss’ hilarious performance that steals the show.

There is a new movie that looks like it would be good called Balled of a small player. I will check that out soon because i love watching all kinds of movioes and may learn some pointers. I am still waiting on my BAM moment  .
