Violence against Women

I was reluctant to make a post regarding the subject, but felt compelled to do so.  My daughter is an entertainer who travels over the U.S., on Tuesday, November 10, 2009, she was a victim of a violent attack.  A man who she saw at the market and at the mall attacked her violently, he had broken in the window when she was asleep!  She is his third victim.  His attacks are getting more aggressive.  She suffered a fractured nose, eye damage and her head was busted open, she has staples in her head.  The suspect, ALEX, is still at large.  May he be captured soon!  I pray another women doesn't become a victim.  This happened in California, in a small town between Los Angeles and Las Vegas.  What makes a person do such a horrible act?  Until now I had only read about it and prayed for the victims and the oppressor be brought to justice, but when it hits home, it HITS.  For any single women, who lives alone, you are at risk and you never know who is watching you.  It could happen to anybody for the matter so everybody, be careful, stay safe and watch out for your loved ones and neighbors, being a nosy neighbor is a good thing, it may save a life!

So sorry to hear your news debra.  I hope your daughter makes a speedy recovery both physically and mentally.

I truly hope they catch that evil SOB soon.  Who knows what he may do next.

Hi Debra, I am so sorry to hear about the attach on your daughter, I live in California I am sure not far from where this happened at or know women that do.  They mostly are married, but I will pass this info around any way to them.  It is a reason that your post caught my eye.  Prayer for you, daughter and family.  Peace and blessing to you

You are a pillar of strength i know, as we have talked about this. Your love and comfort will help heal her wounds......emotionally and physcially. I hope they find him soon and he gets his just dues.

I know sharing sadness like this is not always easy. The love in your heart to bring awareness to us is comendable.

The one thought that remains me with me, is when you told me your daughter said this....

"Mom i a can still sing"!!! ..........and sing she will, because she is a survivor! I send her and you my prayers for a healthy recovery. And thank God for the intervention.

Aww thanks!  Those words touched my heart!  I will share this with her.  She is at the hospital and will be talking with the detectives, they have a new lead!  Hopefully it will end soon.

Why do men do this? It's something only they can answer to and I hope he's quickly caught.

I've never understood this myself. To hate females or desire to treat them as gutter trash just amazes me time after time when I hear of such acts.

I think they may have him, I will let you know soon. They wouldnt let me go with them.  She needs her Mom!  The detectives whissped her up and out of here fast.....pray they get that son of the devil's cousin's uncle's grandpappy! >:(

It wasnt him! :'(  My daugher was thinking this was it, it seems it made her so depressed, I asked them are they just trying to satisfy the public outcry, GO FIND THAT S.O.B.  They said the bad part is:  He may be in Mexico.  Give me a break, its heartbreaking.....they are doing their job, I am just angry....I know you guys can understand that ....or emphathize......just angry! >:(

Well they are out and about looking for that MONSTER!  They are like on a real manhunt.  They hope to have him before Thanksgiving, I truly will be thankful but I am thankful I still have a daughter, so folks didnt make it and I cant forget that, I am grateful today, I heard a song this morning on Regis and Kelly, "We got to live while we dying" by Kris Allen.  He is good!
