Guys I have to admit this is so sad I can't stop thinking about it and wondering if this person did this knowingly or desperatly. Could we have been that fooled for that long? Evan Prayer requests??? This is either the sadest thing or the sickest thing I don't know which!

OK what is getting at me is what if its all true,and things for this person was as bad as they say.O I'm sorry i have a hard time thinking people could say so Many things and it was all one big lie.I red every bit of there story and sometimes cried for them.And if you guys tell me I'm depressed again(WELL YOU ALL WERE RIGHT)you guys new even before me lol,but I'm seeing a doc now so thank you all,and these are the things I'm here for as not even my family new, but you guys did.

skyestar i feel the same way. I believed to and now i hope we didn't make a mistake with this, but i trust that Lips and Zuga would not take this step without carefuly looking into the whole picture that we will never know, but it is very hard to think it could all have been lies!

I was wondering the same thing.... if it is a mistake that was made on part of the mods as just being 'policy says no asking etc.'  They must know a lot more about it than we do and I have to trust them, and thank them for watching out for us.

A thought just occurred... although the infamous member has been banned from posting, I notice they can still log in, right? (looking at their last post vs their last 'activity') So..it's possible they can read all of our comments to see just how hurt and angry we are?

All I can say is my heart breaks for those those who are hurting right now. This is not a matter of simple LCB policy.This what not an easy descision. Banning any member is taken quite seriously and is done only as a last resort. Members come and go on this forum and leave on their own terms. It is rare that a member has ever been banned.

I promised that discretion would be used and it’s a promise I intend to keep. I am asking that you have faith in this decision. For some it may not come easy after feeling so betrayed. You are the members that we want to protect. There is concrete valid reasons in coming to this decision.

Inside I want to scream and say so much more to give everyone more clarity on the situation. I want to yell wake up more than you know and give the reasons why!!!!! But I won’t, instead I ask that you trust Zuga and the LCB team.

It could have been so easy to turn the other cheek. To have a mentality that it’s a gambling forum and whatever happens outside of that is none of our concern. But we are a family, the LCB family. We are more than just a gambling forum. So much more. And I see it now more than ever. Just by the sadness and anger some of you feel. In many ways it will make us a stronger. Be cautious but remember there is people here that really care. You have all just proven that.

First off I would like to say thank you to Zuga and all the staff here for protecting everyone. I am in disbelief myself as I think everyone has figured out who is “missing”. I was mad and upset at first to think that this person would do such a thing as we got to know each other here on the forum.

This is equivalent to a public lynching. I mean banning someone so that they don't have a chance to defend themselves boggles my mind. I myself did some research today as this has upset me to no end and I have found  her stories to be true. The facts are all there. So I honestly don't think with her opening her heart out to everyone here was her intentions to ask/scam anyone.

In the kangaroo court that this forum has degraded to, the concept of innocent until proven guilty lasted almost as long as one of those $5 free chips at Cool Cat casino.
I respect this forum very much, I just feel that the whole story is not being told. What happened to the spirit of community that I once felt here? One of our family members here was in need and asked for our prayers and thoughts. Some did help through the generosity of their hearts after her saying no (its in the chat logs) she did not want any help and she was told to shut up and take what was giving to her. Some of you now sound like the giving wasn't done out of kindness, but out the need to look important and superior.

Was this all a scam or did this generosity really do some good after all? OF COURSE it helped! If your outrage stems from the choice of diversions, then you need to get a grip - would you feel better if this person got wasted on alcohol or drugs instead?Here's the bottom line - this person has spent YEARS doing the right thing in spite of adversity after adversity. Her kids are happy, healthy and SAFE - thanks to her selfless efforts, the tireless efforts of her husband, AND the generosity of some of her online friends. I hear what you are saying but there is a world of difference between being offered money and asking for money.  There are a lot of kind, thoughtful, caring people on this forum with huge hearts who would never want to see a "family" member go without, be it food or anything essential just to survive and these kind hearts will do their best to ensure that this person does not suffer needlessly but to ask for money (tantamount to begging) is wrong.  There are ways and then there are ways and this is not one of them.

To be offered and accepting - nothing wrong in that.

There are facts. And yes, it is not the mods obligation to be vigilant, but they CHOOSE to watch out for dangerous situations for us. Thats what makes them so different from other forums. They're not here just to earn commission off our deposits..they want to ensure a safe, happy gateway for us.

No one got 'thrown under the bus- no names were ever mentioned by mods.
The only judgement that was rushed, was to protect us of being taken advantaged of.
And yes, I am more than satisfied with the decision made be the staff.

I just disagree with you, and I feel the 'tone' you used was attacking towards a decision, which isn't ours to make. I felt the need to tell you how I see it too. Anything not quoted from you, I agree with ya. As it's been said before, we all came to know her and 'virtually' love her, and feel for her hardships. I don't think that was her intentions from the beginning, but once the trust was built up, it was easy to give the puppy dog eyes and get what she wanted. Once trust is broken, it's nearly impossible to get back. There's a bigger picture than you may see.

When i said that i agree the person should be "named and shamed" those are my feelings... but/because for the life of me, the faith and trust i have in the members here i never thought it would be one of our top exclusive, close, long-time, cared for and loved member. Our hearts went out to this person every day... every single day.. and in no way wanted and want to beleive this or it could be.. now i am shamed and i am heartbroken and sick..for my statement of it wanting to be "named and shamed".. in the realization of who the person is... it's extrememly sad and i can't eat or sleep, nor can i clear my mind of it.

I actually thought it was some member that joined, maybe made a few posts and then started approaching members for benefits.. but whats the difference in "some member" or the "long time" member, its still wrong.. but the difference is.. this person gained our hearts, our own precious hearts.. my heart is broken and it is broken for every member here that gave unselfishly.

Well, personally I am very clueless to whoever it was. No, I DON'T want to know, maybe in time I might guess, but I already checked a couple of my "Fav" people and they are still here. OK, that's good.

I think this just shows we can never be too sure about people and like it has been said "Believe nothing of what you hear and only half of what you see" Sad to say, we cannot be free to believe all as there are those who will take advantage of this.

There are only 2 people in this world who will ever know the truth. The accused, the accuser and well, one other. But he knows everything.

PMs passed back and forth between members or mods can be altered.

Questions can be asked of the person at hand and they can lie or they can tell the truth.

So as long as the accused knows the truth and holds their head up high, they will be fine, in their heart.

And as long as the mods know they did everything to protect their forum members, they can hold their head up high also.

This is going to continue for as long as they let it. The back and forth replies. Ban me whatever I dont care anymore.

There were two things that were sent to this member one was a 25.00 burger king gift card from a MOD that told this member to shut up and take it, and another person sent a little money to buy the kids underwear, socks for school. this is in the chat logs as myself and another member looked up. These things were offered and she did not beg for these things. Maybe I should take the time to look thru my MSN chats with a mod and start alleging things myself. This has gone way to far without a doubt.

Post the private messages that were between the member and the "victim", or continue to let all of this go on. Please dont ban me just close my account. I have been here for a while now and just cant believe that this has happened here.

This is fine, theres nothing wrong with this part of it, we will reach out and give, theres nothing wrong in her taking it..IF that is all it is... but what has been explained and i see is that there is MORE to this then meets our eyes.. Zuga and Staff are not going to do this just for recieving a gift or an offer being made out of kindness to heart, and i seriously don't beleive ANY mod or member is going to make up some story.. like Lips said.. THERE IS NOTHING TO GAIN.. infact, though it is saddening the situation, we lost a member.. thats sad too..

I'm sorry, this is all just making me crazy.... 4 many reasons.  And while it may have NOTHING 2 do w/ ANYTHING, I MUST post my opinion.  If this person was having so many problems affording the very basic necessities 4 all of her kids, perhaps her 1st step should have been 2 quit having them until she could rightly afford to take care of them w/o having 2 ask 4 handouts on a gambling forum.

You obviously know ONLY what this person told you, but theres more to it and u can bet on it.
Again Im not gonna disclose any data or names. For me this matter has been closed.

You may like my decision or not, that aint my problem. I had to do whats best to protect LCB members and my decision is final.

@zuga Thanks for the warm welcome. If I was called out on my "first post" because it seemed I was taking sides, I wasn't.

I was merely stating that only the people on both sides of this coin know what actually went down. 

You made your decision to protect your members. I applaud you for that.

I also wanted the banned member to know that IF they did not do what is seems they have done, for them to hold their head up high.

Being called out on a public forum is enough to push an already and obviously stressed out person to the brink of who knows what.

Why did I decide to finally post? I don't know why but I didn't think I had to have a reason before I did it.

Look I really don't know Zuga but I do know Lips and if she says there more to it and there isn't then someone lied to her but i trust her judgment. All I know is this is getting out of hand, I think either Zuga or Lips should call this person and talk to them one on one and find out once and for all the truth and let's all move on with our lives. Times are very ruff for everyone right now and we all have problems, it is the times we live in. But the turth will set us all free.

Kudos 2 Zuga & Lips 4 their professionalism in handling what has obviously been a painful experience 4 many members; how you both have managed 2 keep cool heads is a lesson 2 us all & yet another example of why u have attained the status u both have here @ lcb.  I applaud your maturity & wisdom, & thank u 4 continuing 2 look out 4 our best interests.

I am not trying to stir this situation up anymore or get anyone upset with me. But, since I've become a member on LCB I have always felt freely (& comfortably)...well until now to make a comment,  BUT felt need to post it.....isn't it time this thread is closed?locked?  Hasn't enough explanations/comments from the moderators and spectators been said about this person and what happened? I feel the LCB staff did what they felt best, but enough...whoever this person is prob feels bad enough and looks like most members do as well! Just my opinion
