    PLACERVILLE, Calif. - A woman who was snatched from a bus stop as an 11-year-old child in 1991 turned up after 18 mysterious years, and a convicted sex offender and his wife who were with her have been arrested in the kidnapping.

    On Thursday, Jaycee Lee Dugard was reunited with her mother, who was overjoyed to learn the daughter she feared dead was actually alive.

    Details began emerging about how Dugard spent the 18 years since she was abducted as a ponytailed child outside her South Lake Tahoe home. El Dorado County sheriff's officials said she spent most of her time in secluded sheds, tents and outbuildings behind the home of her alleged abductor, Phillip Garrido, and had two children fathered by him.

    I just wanted to share this with you guys, I remember her being kidnapped since I was pregnant with my son then and it happened less than two hours from where I lived.  I am so glad she is alive and I will keep Jaycee and her two children in my prayers.

    I am surprised, but the further I read, I can see it wasn't just a "Simple" case. I think the sad thing is the cops "Always" considered one family member a "Likely" suspect. (Great job there officer!) and makes me wonder if they ignored evidence that might have pointed to the real one.

    How someone can convince another to "Follow what they say" is suprising to me, that she had gone with this guy and was "Acting" like the wife is shocking, but I know further details will come out.

    I am just glad she's alive and hopefully, she may one day get that monster off her mind for awhile.

    Sad, but hopeful for her future. BTW I was 31 when this happened..I may have heard about it, but it's among hundreds every year it seems..so many gone and where really to?
