In my country children believe that Santa Claus bring gifts under Christmas tree in Christmas Eve by riding with reindeers.
We clean houses for a holidays and food is very important part in our celebration.
There has to be atleast Christmas ham with mustard,potato and carrot casserole,salad from boiled beetroots, carrots, potatoes, apples and pickled cucumber. Also cured salmon is common.
Prune jam pastries, Gingerbreads and Confectioneries can be found almost in every home, mine too.
Many people also still boil in Christmas Eve morning the rice porridge and an almond has been hidden in it, who get almond get lucky in next year.
Candles in hanging lanterns are left outside, with glowing lanterns shining in the snow - looks like a winter wonderland.
We spend time with family members, enjoy and spending a good time, Christmas time is the best!
