  • As we are on the cusp of the end of life date I am concerned what this means for those of us "outlanders" who have been forced to play (if we want to play at all) at casinos with questionable licensing (if any) and less than reputable practices in their history at one point or another.

With the thought of "black friday" in my mind. When seemingly reputable online poker rooms were oulawed in the U.S forcing them to shutdown, leaving players holding the bag. I can not help but worry a similiar situation is upon us.

I have attempted cash outs at 2 casinos in the last week both with fairly good reviews at most sites. Ozwin casino (RTG) and Jackpotwheel (Rival). Yet almost a week has past and I can not get a response from either. My chats have been terminated and emails ignored.

I have been searching the web for any definitive answers on the subject for which I've found none. This only heightens my fears.

As for now I am holding off making any more deposits until further notice and advise others to do the same.

If anyone has knowledgeable information or even an opinion regarding the future of these software based casinos (RTG & RIVAL) please share.

  • Hit me up directly and we can talk about my experiences in depth if you want. Considering we can only play in a select few casinos, here are the ones I have had good luck with.

Slotland\Winaday\Cryptoslots - Start with these guys cause the customer service is the best in my opinion. Honestly im suprised they havent perm banned me yet considering how I get sometimes. They have been flexable and even made exceptions when they werent required to. That holds alot of weight in my opinion.

Slots.lv-bovada-cafe casino-Ignition  - These guys have always paid my  largest wins with no questions asked. Payout was pretty quick but just know the customer service sucks. They wont move heaven and earth to keep you happy so just know that going into it.

Vegas Crest - Cyberspins - Customer service has gotten alot better. I have hit real nice at these 2 casinos but withdrawals take longer than they should in my opinion. They are adding more perks and bonuses which makes them even more of a contender.

Genysis group - Jackpot wheel - Treasure mile +++ - Customer service isnt good but they try.......sometimes. Very by the book so watch your bonus abuse. If you do 2 bonuses in a row and try to withdraw they will zero your account out and not even tell you it happened. I only know cause its happened 3 times to me. Granted it was more my fault than theirs but still.

Drake/Gossip - I have won more than I lost at these casinos which is kinda rare. Withdrawals are slow and kinda a pain unless you do bitcoin. Overall customer service is decent.

Hit me up if you have questions or wanna know more. This should be a good start for you tho.

  • I have cashed out plenty at all the bodog (bovada/ignition/cafe) casinos as a poker enthusiast this is where I first started playing spins.

Most of the Rival casinos I can play at do not allow me bonuses as I have won more than I have deposited. Including all 4 related to cocoa casino, sports and casino & ducky luck, cafe & slotsLV.  Just recently cashed at cyber n vegascrest. I am waiting on word of a payout from jackpotwheel now for about a week. Have not had any luck at the "slotland" casinos thus far.

My worry is about the fact flash is no longer being supported and that it will probably hurt these casinos financially. Which might cause payouts to cease. This is heightend by the fact I cannot get in contact with neither jackpotwheel for a 700 payout or Ozwin for a 250 payout since initiating the payouts about a week ago. I have sent several emails to both with no response. Even had chat terminated when inquiring about said payout. This is the longest I have waited just to receive confirmation of a payout request. The fact it's right in the middle of adobe's "end of life date" has me concerned.

I extremely appreciate the time you took to advise upon the worth while casinos available to me. I find your list parallel with ones I would suggest myself.

What games at slotland/winaday do you have the most luck on recently?

  • Hi all, great question but don't worry (speaking for CasinoMax, Cherry Jackpot, Roaring 21 and Spinfiity).

There will be a reduction in games but a lot have already been converted into HTML5, which is essentially taking over from where Flash (rest its soul) left off. Behind the scenes the games have been worked on to convert them from flash to HTML5 over the last 3 years. Those games that will be 'let go' will be games that are no longer played or played very little. We'll still have close to 200 games that I'm aware of and that will be growing monthly with each new release.

So short of it is, please don't worry and if you're looking for a reputable US friendly casino group then please check out our reviews on LCB.

  • Nice I knew most should be switching over to HTML5 (WebGL) with plenty of notice given. I just worried because I have to allow flash often still. I really got concerned when some casinos like ignition dropped half of their games. Last I checked they had 2 rival games running Mystic Wolf and 10 times win. I mostly play poker so I am there a lot.

  • Good question indeed, Tony.

While I can't speak on behalf of the competition, let me dtto to what LA-Martyn said above that the farewell to once almighty Flash has long been coming, supposedly giving brands enough time to prepare.

What this means for brands under the umbrella of Slotland Entertainment is that we will also be retiring some ancient/legacy games, but thankfully managed to convert vast majority of most played and most popular games from Flash to HTML5 over the past few years. So no major harm done.

Just let me add that -- at least from our point of view -- it would make absolutely no sense to even touch the payout/RTP just coz of retiring a few games. As this could be a perfect example of potential short term gain only leading to a massive loss in the long term in terms of alienating existing players, risking brand reputation etc.

Also, sorry to hear about your lackluster experience with other brands' customer support, or ability to speedily cash out your winnings. Both being something in which our brands totally rock, having mastered these for more than two decades ever since launching Slotland --

Btw. if not getting a response on your pending cashouts anytime soon, I suggest you seek a mediation by raising a complaint directly here on LCB, or some other large affiliate portal. Swap tons of unanswered emails for a mighty hammer you can knock on their door with, usually leading to have your issue sorted out in a breeze.

While ofc, my best advice is to stick with brands that you don't need any hammer to get your rightful winnings from, uhm such as ours. Fingers crossed those winnings are in your pocket soon!

  • Hi Tony,

TL;DR: Flash going out is no-problem for RTG; Complaints Section might help.

Seems I'm a bit late to the party, but allow me to re-confirm that the death of Flash will not have any significant impact on our RTG operations. We've all known about Flash going out for (at least) two years, and the techies at RTG were hard at work to ensure the most popular games remain easily accessible.

The handful of Legacy games which are no longer available in Instant Play modes, can still be accessed by those willing to use the Download Platform.

Long story short, I'm afraid your postponed withdrawals are not correlated with Flash's end of life. As SL already did, I would also advise you to use the Complaints section, to try and expedite the resolution of your withdrawal requests.

Sorry to be a bit of a shill, but I can't resist mentioning that we (Casino Extreme, Brango & Adrenaline) guarantee Instant Withdrawals (within the hour of requesting). Check out our reviews, and if you decide to give us a shot, we've got a total of $100 in Free Chips to welcome you with.

Good luck with your Cashouts, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!

    Sincerely,
    Mikey

  • Quite the opposite I appreciate your candor. One of my favorite qualities in a person. The EOLD not being the issue is actually good news. While yes it does means it's these casinos policy to purposfully drag their feet in hopes of reversals and losses. Still means I will receive the funds eventually if there is no out of the ordinary issue.  Also I will come check out your match bonuses and wr. (which I'm pretty picky and dont like going over 25-30x wr) As far as free bonuses Im sure at some point I have already claimed any decent nd if lcb offers it.

Thank you your information it was welcomed and helpful. May all your endeavors be exceptional!

  • OK I did not know that adobe was on it's way out. Now I can't play most of my casino games. I tried switching to HMTL5 and my anti virus software went nuts with all kinds of malware warnings. Do the casinos have any suggestions on what I should now use?

  • This doesnt make sense, how do you switch your PC to HTML 5 version?

You shouldn't use anything other than your regular web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari etc) or the downloadable software platform that a casino provides.

  • ??? Twobears what world have you been browsing in. It's been scheduled to end since 2015.???

Melcb...You should not have to switch anything. It's just a new script for designing 2d and 3d (webGL for 3d) animation. Your browser be it chrome based or firefox (only options for pc) is already compatable. Adobe itself has been using anime for years which is (HTML5) script based. It's only websites that (usually ones that stopped getting updates some time ago) refuse to switch over despite the ample warning that will be lost. My concern was that any casino or casino software that was already barely surviving might not. Which a lot of the "la cucaracha" licensed (a loose use of the term) casinos seem to be. Considering how they find any excuse not to payout and disregard return buisness for pocket change whenever they can.

I started this thread when Ignition dropped all but a few of their Rival games. It made me worry that the casinos that were pretty much rival only might have some issues. Everything seems to be fine however. Lost a few games but most rival sites picked up a couple new softwares from what I can tell.

That's probably not what the LCB member meant to say. To give you an example:

Some of our legacy games used to be available in two versions, full-fledged Flash version and kinda dated barebone HTML version (containing the same features, bonuses and stuff, only limited in gfx take, not having sound, etc.).

Over the past year or two, all major browsers would start displaying a pop-up requiring you to approve flash content to be loaded and run, initially doing it once while remembering your choice for the site, and eventually on every single instance of loading a particular flash game. Selecting no to load flash content triggered a fall-back to HTML version.

I think some similar way of picking what version of the game would load is what the player may have referred to...

  • The player will not have to choose how to play the game, it's automatic. No change to settings or anything like that is required. Just select your game and play, responsibly of course. :)

  • Since I started this I will attempt to explain the best I can. WebGL(for rendering 3d, it falls back on HTML5) is a javascript with shaders very similiar to c++. Most major websites have been using this to design for years. You have not noticed because it is GPU supported so plugins are not required. It's integration and compatability is what made it the obvious next choice.  Chrome has been compatable with a version of webGL since 2012 and flash has been obsolete on iOS and android since 2013. When smartphones became popular flash tried to integrate the platform which left many wholes in the software that were widely taken advantage of.

This is when google announced a definite end to their support of flash. Giving developers years to upgrade to the new script which for the most part as I understand was not extremely difficult. You can just cut and paste text and graphics. There is a converter in the player for flash animation sequences. Migration is easy as long as using a common programming language.  Rebuilding, shading and mapping are a total diffirent story but unlimited library/API resources are out there to help.

Visualy it has leap and bound capabilities due to the shaders giving depth and dimensions that were not possible before.

In short this has been around for years so nothing is changing other than the loss of anything still supported by flash only.

  • Well, in recent days some RTG games I can't play via software anymore, I'll give an example in the full RTG software I tried to open the Mermaid queen video slots and I got a message that this game can no longer be played here you can play it via mobile and So it was without any problem, it worked very well on mobile and so to mention some of the old  games via software but my advice is that if you can play the games on your cell phone I don't think you have any problems.

  • Shouldn't be any problems for RTG or RIval, games are already converted, and as far as I can tell they work better than they did on Flash (they load faster, they are resizable instead of fixed resulution etc...)

Some RTG games are gone, yes, but those were pretty old games that not many people played. Download version of the software is also gone, but honestly, I haven't launched a download version of casino for almost 3 years now, not gonna miss it personally. Important thing is, all my favorite RTG games are still there :)
