What Does Your Favorite Color Say About You?

Almost everyone has a favorite color and mine is.......Piggy pink!(light pink).

We surround ourselves with the color we favor by painting the walls in our house, wearing clothing, and even purchasing cars of our chosen color.

Little did you know perhaps, that your favorite color can say a lot about you.
You can get quite an idea of what is going on inside someone (or yourself) just by looking at their color choices.

                           

Blue is a calming and soothing color. Many religious cultures believe that blue is spiritual and/or keeps away evil. If blue is your favorite color, you are likely a nurturing person that others look to for spiritual or mental healing.

Blue is often a sign of intelligence, thus those drawn to blue are often intelligent people. Darker blue symbolizes authority and higher power. It is often associated with those in peaceful higher power, such as police officers. Blue is also associated with importance and confidence, which pair well with the authoritative quality.
They love love and can be gentle and passionate at the same time. Blues tease and tickle and then light candles and pull you down to serious business. A blue can be satisfied with one love so long as they are passionate and joyous. Blues stick with you during hard times and are there to dance when times are good.

                           

Green is the color of life. It symbolizes abundance in growth, health, environment and even renewal. However, green can also symbolize jealousy. Green, like blue, also has a calming effect.

Most of the time green reflects balance, stability, and harmony.

If green is your favorite color, you are most likely a relaxed person who is a lover of nature and in tune with living healthy. Lovers of the color green are often spiritual healers and can also be very prosperous, as well as constantly full of new ideas.
It's not a coincidence that green invokes visions of gently rolling fields and fresh spring scents. The lovers of green make enduring and endearing partners who believe in love and romance. It's easy to drift into a relationship with a green lover and never disentangle yourself...or want to. Greens understand give and take...if you give your all in a relationship with one, you'll get everything they have to give...just don't look at greener pastures while they're watching you...that's one monster you never want to face.
However, green lovers should also watch out for their jealous side.

                             

Turquoise is a mixture of blue and green. Therefore, someone who enjoys turquoise will have a mixture of blue and green qualities. Turquoise also symbolizes water, so someone with a love for turquoise will likely have a special appreciation of water.

                             

Gray is most often seen as dull. It is often used during mourning. Gray is the color most used for tombstones in a graveyard because of its mourning quality. If gray is your favorite color, you may be considered a neutral person or one who is in mourning.
Long if you're in a relationship with someone who picks gray for their favorite color. You'll experience both sides of that coin. A female who loves gray comes across as cool and professional. She can shake her hair down but a lump in the covers can have her drifting off in her mind to do her taxes. A man who likes gray is hard to reach and attacks love like a duty. Grays are best suited to other grays...together, they form a very content union.

                           

Silver might be thought to contain the same qualities as gray, but that is not so. Silver symbolizes riches and quality. One who likes silver could be construed as a very material being or someone who has many riches.

                           

White represents innocence, purity, and cleanliness. Someone who has a high appreciation of white is often considered to be holy and pure. White is often associated with spiritual or helpful positions, such as doctor, nurse, pope, or minister.
You'll never find a white lover splashing in puddles or pulling you out to walk in the rain. These people are intensely private and don't like to share intimacy. Have lots of soap and shampoo ready when you find yourself in a relationship with one of these people. They'll spend a lot of time in your shower, and they won't ask you to join them! Lights out...do we really have to do this?

                           

Red can denote anger, power, love, or attraction.

Many people who choose the color of red as a favorite like to be the center of attention and can also be very passionate about people or things they love. Red also symbolizes power. However, these people can also sometimes be very passionate about the things they don't like as well. Red lovers, watch out for that side of you. It isn't always good.

One small breath can spark a flame that lasts forever. If red is your favorite color, you are passionate in the extreme. You see no object in your path and will aggressively stampede others out of the way until you reach your goal. If you meet another red lover, it's possible that the two of you may spontaneously combust! If you're not a red and find yourself pursued by one, embrace the passion or get yourself a restraining order!

                           

Pink is playful, delicate, and charming.

Those who choose pink as their favorite color will possess those qualities and will often be the center of attention. Pink lovers are generally fun to be around because of their playful side. However, they can also be very sensitive, due to their delicate nature. Lovers of pink might get their feelings hurt easily.

Women who favor pink are clinging to a feminine ideal that rarely pays off in a relationship. A pink female will flirt and tease and reel you in only to cut bait at the crucial moment. A man who favors pink will put you on a pedestal and just leave you there the minute another honey wanders by. Both are more involved in looks and the envy of friends than the feelings of those they snare. You can tell if you've been caught in a pink web about 2 days after the "big party" they dragged you to, to show you off...that's when the calls stop and the chill starts.

                             

Orange signifies stimulation, energy, and warmth (the sun).

Those who love orange will be full of energy and are easily stimulated both mentally and physically. They are generally very warm and caring people and know how to brighten someone's day.
Vibrant and intense best describe you if orange is your favorite color. You see love as a great party where you are the hostess or host and you take your responsibilities seriously. If you've been loved by one of these people, you'll never know that all the screaming and moaning was for your benefit and that they were only thinking of your pleasure the whole time. Two oranges together is a nightmare of unfulfillment! Just don't go there.

                               

Yellow signifies joy and happiness, but can also signify deceit.

Those who love yellow can usually be found brightening others days and seem to always wake up happy. They are most always hopeful for the future. Lovers of yellow do need to watch out for their deceitful side because it sometimes gets in the way of their sunshiny thoughts.
If this is your fave, you're a "go with the flow" type. A hummingbird, seeking nectar in every sunny field and rarely settling on one flower. You flit from the first sweet ray of romance and often drift off when things get serious or dark. If a yellow person turns their glow your way...keep things bright or risk seeing them lose their shine. Yellows should never settle with another yellow unless both partners are prepared to offer each other a very long rope!

                               

Gold is a color that symbolizes extravagant riches.

Those who love gold could be royalty or people who have great riches. If you are a lover of gold and do not have any riches, it may symbolize riches in your future or the desire of riches.

                               


Brown often symbolizes dependability, simplicity, and a love of earth.

Those who love brown are generally very friendly and "down-to-earth" people. They pride on living a natural and simple life. Those who love brown may also have a great interest in food, as brown can invoke the appetite.
Teddy bears and melted chocolate for these lovers. They make caring and sensitive partners who revel in romance and relish togetherness. A brown lover wraps themselves in the ideals and imaginings of love and a relationship with them can sweep you away into dreams and whispers. Beware! Reality is a cold, hard bite to these people and everything can come unwrapped if conditions are less than ideal.

                             

Black can denote mystery, sophistication, and sexiness. In some cultures, it signifies death and mourning.

Those who love black are often hard to figure out. At times they can be very sophisticated. Then, at other times, they can "let their guard down". For this reason, those who love black are often considered mysterious. Black can sometimes be considered a rebellious color as well.
People who prefer black are intense and immediate. They rarely tease and are more likely to just grab your hand and drag you off when the mood strikes them...if the mood strikes them...if they can shake that introspective moodiness long enough to feel anything. They thrive on anger and stress and friction...if you find yourself bound to one of these people, keep to the edge and hang on!

                           

Violet, the color of luxury and sensuality helps release creativity. Its lavish nature is seen on religious robes and smelled in expensive perfumes. If violet is your favorite, you may think your strong, sensitive, observant personality makes you quite unique. Chances are you are artistic and enjoy being creative and glamorous. Although you confide in friends, it's tough sometimes for them to "get" you. Some caution against wearing violet around the sick because it's draining.

                           


Purple lovers love themselves to the extreme. Always make a purple lover give you a massage first or you'll never get one! Female purple fans are cool and always composed and they'll fuss if you wrinkle their dress when you try to rip it off. Male purple people are methodical and often leave you wanting more while they wander off to shower after any messy entanglements.
