    Hi Members,

    If you could choose any era to live in.....what one would it be?

    I think my favorite nostalgic era has to be the 40's. Sinatra was swooning...the swing was in..jazz clubs were the place to be and movies were classic. Its an era where men opened cars doors for their dame....lit their cigarette...and when walking down the street.....a man always walked on the side closest to the street to protect his little lady!!

    Back before frozen dinners and microwaves.....when home cooking was still cool.

    When men wore wide brim fedoras...boxy suit coats...baggy pants......women wore hats......white gloves.....and always a dress!!!

    Slicked back hair for the guys and pompadours for the ladies.

    When coke was still cola.....and a joint was a bad place to be.

    Ahhh but nothing beats the 50's beehive and the rolled up cigarette pack under the sleeve!

    Is chivalry really dead?
