  • I'm curious about everyone's biggest deal-breakers when it comes to mobile games. We've all downloaded games that looked fun but ended up uninstalling them within minutes or hours.

What exactly made you remove the game so quickly?
Was it too many ads, boring gameplay, slow loading, paywalls, bad controls, or something else?

Share your experiences—I'd love to hear the specific reasons that made you hit the uninstall button instantly.

  • Hi Gamecraftor,

Good question! If I spend more time staring at a loading screen than actually playing, that’s my cue to uninstall. smiley

  • For me, the fastest uninstall is when the game turns out to be nothing like the ad promised. If the trailer shows one thing, then I open it and get a completely different game with a messy interface… delete within minutes.

My second reason is a bit more personal: sometimes I uninstall a game because I’m playing it too much. That’s basically me telling myself, “Enough now”. A temporary breakup for productivity reasons.

  • The biggest turnoff for me is aggressive ads right from the start. If I can’t even get a feel for the game without being interrupted every 30 seconds, I’m out.

  • Too many ads, no question. It gets frustrating so quickly. I don’t mind a few here and there, but when it feels like I’m watching ads more than playing, I’m gone.

  • I agree with that. Too many ads really ruin the experience, especially when they interrupt the flow of the game. A few are fine, but when it feels constant, it just gets frustrating and takes away the fun.

  • I can tolerate a few ads, but what makes me uninstall instantly is when the game takes away player choice. Forced tutorials, constant notifications, and being pushed toward purchases within the first few minutes make it feel more like a marketing app than a game. If I'm not having fun right away, I probably won't stick around.
