Whispering Sweet Nothin's in Roulette!

Hi Members,

Last summer i was playing roulette at the land casino. A dealer who just left his post and was done for the nite, pulled up a chair next to me and whispered in my ear.."play 29 it's gonna hit next"

I laughed as i said "you really think so huh"...i didn't play the number and of course 29 hit. I wasn't laughing anymore! I perked up and asked him what number should i play next? He whipsered in my ear "play 33". I covered 33 in every way i could....as the wheel spun it slowed down and bammm it landed on 33! He whispered one more number to me and again it hit! He then whispered "i have to go or i am going to get in trouble" and walked away.

I hauled in over $400.00 from his helpful tips! This is at a very well known casino. I wondered how did he know what was going to be the next number. I also was surprised he took the risk to tell me...seems his job would be on the line for that type of info.

So i did alittle research. It seems that if the roulette wheel is not properly balanced it has a high percentage of the ball landing on the same numbers. Casinos have come a long way with preventing this by using a computer program that records the spins. If certain numbers are winning more than usual the wheel is serviced and balanced.

As the eye in the sky keeps its eye on you....keep your eye on the ball....it just might be a unbalanced wheel!

Very cool story.  I think a few things.  First, the croupiers tend to have a good fell for the wheel and probability...good gut.  Also, the wheel DOES sit on a pivot, thus, the wheel can be tilted to favor a certain side of the wheel.  Still, a very cool story.  Some strange things happen in casinos...and (as a rouletter player for years) some VERY strange things can happen on the roulette wheel....very strange.

Ya no what? I think this guy liked you more than his job... I have never had any luck with playing roulette and I realize the problem now...I need to hang out with you so someone can tell me the lucky number...
