Whitney Houston dead at age 48.

Beautiful voice... wasted with drugs. 

Theres my Gabby.  Hope u r feeling better these days.  Not only was her voice beautiful but years ago she was the most beautiful looking black woman I had seen in my life.

There's my gabby and my gunnylab! Nobody told me it was old home week! Hope both of you are doing well!


That is so sad about Whitney Houston... she was such an incredible talent... and as happens with too many super talents, taken from us early.

saw her pic in one of the magazine at a supermarket two days ago.  It's shocking to hear that she died at that age.

I just watched her performance on the "SSB" and she's my all time fav for that. Plus many of her hit songs. Still so young.... :'( :'( :'(

i was really shocked when I heard about this, she's one of my favorite singer, she is really good too sad that she wasted her great life for drugs. 

what a really sad loss to the world, she had such a great voice.

It's a real shame that such a huge talent went to waste and that she passed away at such a young age... May her soul rest in peace.

I had no idea.  What a terrible shock and what a terrible waste at such a young age.

The Voice is gone. Hope she's at peace now, but what a loss for the world this is!

She was an amazing singer. The tone in her voice was amazing. Such a gift to the world but she destroyed herself.

Terrible news. Rest in peace Whitney.

Apparently she had some alcohol and Xanax, not a good combination, and fell asleep in the bath tub and then drowned...

The news really shocked me. Her death is really a major loss in the music scene. If she recorded a soundtrack this year, I bet, she’ll have another nomination in the 84th Academy Awards. My sincere condolences to her family.

This was such shocking, sad news.  Being in recovery myself, I can understand how she didn't want to deal with her pain sober.  But no one is guaranteed to get another chance.
