Who Had the Greatest Impact on You?

John Lennon was the worst for me. I felt i lost part of my youth when got killed.

I absolutely loved Three's Company and it made me a fan of John Ritter. When he passed away it broke my heart. It was so out of the blue and he was in the middle of a new TV series.

I loved Jack Tripper!

Dale Earnhardt... A fluke that he died that way that day... the heart of racing went with him and it has never been the same! :'(

John Ritter was brought up more then once on the radio. Dale Earnhardt that was a tuffy to handle for many nascar fans fo sho.

My heart cried when Patrick Swayze passed away... not only a good actor but a dancer and song writer!
I remember how my heart jumped when I first saw him as Orry Main in North and South...
even though I couldn't understand the half of the story without knowing English at that time and being too young but I understood one thing alright for certain that my heart acted abnormal every time I watched the show...who could resist his crystal blue eyes and great smile!!!

Paul Newman for me,he was pure class!!! Patrick Swayze too,loved to watch him dance and he just seemed like a really caring man.John Lennon...a h_ll of a song writer and artist.

John Candy was one funny dude. End of an era in comedies.

Patrick Swayze, how could I forget. I felt terrible about that too. The way he came back to acting on "The Beast" made me think he would pull through. I think I watched Dirty Dancing 5 times in a week when I heard he passed. One of the few actors that was able to sustain a lasting marriage.

      This is Diane and i just came across this section in the forum and started reading some of these when i saw what my twin sister wrote...I love her so much ! she has me in tears also.
Denise if you happen to read this ill always love you and for all the things that i have said about you and never told you .....I take it all back !

Although he wasn't famous, Jett Travolta's death struck me.

I just felt so dang sorry for his parents.

I would add Elvis.  Although I was young, I remember being on the beach with my family and my mom being upset when she told me.

Although I didn't watch his work, Christopher Reeves was a sad passing.  The tragedy of how and why was so sad.
