Not a L. James fan, nowhere near Jordan's class and style I think.

Although the Warriors are favoured by 11 points tonight my gut is telling me that the Cavs win this one in a very close game. A JR Smith buzzer beater perhaps. The Warriors still win the championship in 6 games.

I think the warriors are favorites for the 2018 trophy. suspense, the winners will be announced on June 25th

This is the story of my life.

When I bet with my head I should have went with my gut and when I bet with my gut I should have went with my head. 

I only ended up losing $4.00 on a proline ticket but I went an awful 0/6 on it haha. This doesn’t happen often but I should have bet on the exact opposite.

I'm an addicted sports bettor my self so I know what you mean.

By the way you're not betting online as I could see from your ticket, why is that?

A few reasons.

1. I always load with a prepaid vanilla card and there is a $3.95 activation fee or more depending on the amount of the card. That’s already a loss.

2. When I bet online I do win more often but I always end up wasting my money on stupid slots or poker. I have little to no self control gambling online that’s why I don’t do it as often anymore.

3. I only have a Ontario health card atm so it’s really hard to get verified. This doesn’t pass as a valid I.D at online casinos but it does for proline. Luckily though when I did have a passport I verified myself on a few betting websites. I still use them from time to time.

4. The money is more visible. As in when you go to the store and place a bet you see the money leaving your pocket and when you win the cashout is instant and you see the winnings entering your pocket. I definitely have more control this way. I feel that when I gamble online the money can almost feel like “play money”.

5. I find it’s way more conviennent unless you win over a certain amount. You can pretty much place bets and cash out at any gas station or conviennence store in Ontario. Again it’s pretty much instant cashout.

6. No fees with proline.

7. OLG is very good at supporting the community therefore I am a big supporter of OLG.

8. Proline/Pointspread/Pools/Props which are the different game methods you can bet on are all ran by OLG ( Ontario government) so you know that you can trust it. 

I can certainly think of other reasons why I don’t bet online anymore but I think you get the point.

I can also think of many reasons why gambling online is more beneficial but it’s just not for me.

What are your thoughts? Why do you bet online and are you able to bet “offline”? 

Yeah I get it now Patty, apparently you have a lot of reasons for betting that way(8 and counting) and obviously it makes a good sense for you.

I could confirm about point 4 of your post - it's true, this is the advantage of the offline staking.

20 or so years ago there wasn't any online betting sites here, just one land based company has been allowed to accept sports betting wagers, they've offered the worst odds plus the fact they've had some other extra conditions like minimum of a 3 games that you should stake and so on...so I was keen even back then to find a better choice which could of been find only in the net back then...and now too.

Now 20 years later the possibilities for offline betting are still quite the same here (maybe slightly better terms though)and I couldn't imagine going back of staking that way, it just make no sense for me.

Plus the fact I'm quite addicted everyday bettor so it's quite more comfortable doing that from home being able to choose from a number of different bookies online if I wish (usually stuck to just one)

All sports. My favourite is American football though even over hockey.

Yeah I love the American football too, can't say which I preffer more between football and hockey really, but both sports are in my top 5, and in the upper part of it too.

Which teams you support in NFL & NHL? because obviosly you're doing wrong with the Cavaliers in NBA

I don’t like the Cavs i‘m just a big supporter of Lebron and what he is doing. He is one of the greatest players to play the game and is really fun to watch. The sad or funny thing is I’m a true Raps fan and Lebronto always has our number.

Nothing personal Patty, but I just can't stand LeBron, you're probably too young to see much or any of Michael Jordan in action but he's the ultimate athlete for me and I didn't even like the Bulls, just the other way round, I use to hate them.

But to be honest I'm not much of a basketball fan these days, so not really care what's going on these days there.

NBA - LA Lakers

NFL - GB Packers and kind of NE Patriots fan.

MLB- not too fancy in baseball but if  I have to choose it would be the LA Dodgers

I don’t take it personal because in the end its just your opinion. I agree that Michael Jordan is a better athlete then LeBron James but he is not the better basketball player. 

Well, I couldn't agree to that either but in the end we all have our opinion and I respect yours.

So obviously the Warriors are the NBA champs Not much of a contest in the final series when they whitewashed the Cavaliers 4-0.

Golden state warriors have the best team completed hands down
