why me??

Hi my name is Wendy and i love this site. But, recently i found out my identity was stolen and now am having to fight to get my money from the state. I know that this happens all the time. It just is to bad it happens to us good people out here. This is just a lil crazy for me to handle right now and especially around the Holidays. well i am off to get more info and help. Sorry to hear that your idenity was stolen.  This must be very stressful.  I hope you manage to sort everything out.  How did you discover this?

Hi wendy,i'm sorry to hear that too,i hope things will recover soon.. i'm curious to know how it happened as it might give us tips on how to prevent it from happening or keep us away from places of deception.., if you care to share ore xplain your situation, someone could know what to do.. or if not it is understandable

Identity theft is such a waste of time once interpol and government agencies start investigating its game over ...trust me they wont be sailing off into the sunset ...there will be a slight storm before they reach paradise.

I welcome someone to try and steal mine, let my debt collectors go after someone else! lol...but I know this is no joke and I'm sorry to hear about all the trouble your now going through.

That's a pretty bad thing but now that you have discovered it I think you will receive help to get back to normal. Hopefully no damage was done.

well it happened here in Minnesota. i went to file my property tax refund and they claimed that i owed money to them  so, they took it. So, i investigated this matter and sure enough someone filed taxes in my name here in 2007. so, i called the police and did all that fun stuff  filed papers to show proof i never lived here in 2007. It all a mess but, i got the proper authorities involved in this matter. I will tell you all that it is easy to obtain your info on a computer. ever try to goggle yourself. try it u will be surprised how much info is on u on here. that is google.com and type in your name in to the search engine and see.

I'm sorry this happened to you.  I just watched a movie about a gal who had her indentity stolen and it's not fun.

I also am in Minnesota and when I took my daughter to open a checking account, someone else had used her social security number and bailed on their account.  Luckily she only had to produce her SS# to get it straightened out.

I've googled my name and they have a lot of info about my company... most of it is wrong. Have no idea who it putting 1/2 the stuff out there.

Another scary thing is being able to see an arial view of your home... cars in the drive and all. Anyone can type in anyone's address and see exactly where they are located.  Forgot the website.
