Will you stay on that machine after an employee has worked on it??

    So your sitting and playing your favoite slot machine, and doing pretty well,  when a casino employee walks up and politley asks you to step back while she adds payout vouchers to the printer.  You do so and watch her go to work. She slides her card in, punches some numbers, then opens the machine. She quickly fills the vouchers, closes the machine, punches a few more numbers and BAM, she is thanking you for your patience and she is on her merry way. NOW...How likely are you to continue to play that machine?? Are you thinking with all those little buttons she just pushed she somehow has changed the odds of that machine to the casino's favor? That she flipped a switch once inside the machine?? I know I used to. Another Myth debunked gang...The odds of that machine are pre-programmed by the slot manufacturer, not the casino, or  any employee. The Random Number Generator is always at work. There is no such thing as a pay cycle or a take cycle. And there is no employee that can change the machines RNG chip to do anything but what the manufacturer programmed it to do.

PS...Pulling the handle vs hitting the button does nothing to change the programmed outcome of the machine. Pulling the handle or hitting the button is going to get you the same outcome determined by the RNG.

I'm am sure that it is true that having an employee work on a machine has nothing to do with the programming but.....i still don't like it. If i am on a machine that is really hot i feel jinxed if some employee comes walkling up and stops my play.

I always think that they came to throw off the rhythm of my winning machine! Some one once told me that the program inside a slot keeps running a cycle whether you are playing or not..now i often wonder how true that is.

I think its a matter of good timing in combination with little luck. I hit a jackpot of 6.800 after an employee fixed my machine!

Lipstick: I too have mentioned that a machines RNG does continue to cycle numbers whether the machine is being played or not. I have done much research on slots and their workings and I have never found anyone who said different. It is such happenstance to actually win on a machine when you start to understand the workings behind the face of that machine.  A casino employee can most definitley throw off your rhythm, but beyond that there is nothing they can do to change that machines play. There is no secret switch inside, or punching their numbers in does not change the outcome.  It is pure LUCK.

just the fact that it stopped you playing for a while... that could turn your good luck to bad or maybe it's a way of telling you to stop coz you'll start to lose now.. superstitious indeed.. hehehe.. my point is playing should be continuous so to not stop the luck! hehhe
