Would Stay............or Would You Leave?

Sitting around a fire over the weekend with a group of friends a question came up. Not your typical stranded desert island question, this one was a bit different.

If you got stranded on a desert island with loved one and if the island was paradise complete with everything you would need to live out the rest of your life........would you try to leave or would you stay.

My first reaction was i would def want to get off that island but a couple people in the group said they would stay and never try to leave! I was surprised by that answer but i guess it would mean getting away from the hectic life of working, paying bills and all the other stresses.

What would you do stay or leave?

I think I leave, life is hard in the world but people is born for the world and I think that love is really only in the real life.

I'm getting the hell off that island. No way I'm staying there but that's just me. No interaction with anyone or anything for the rest of my life? No thanks

I'm with you froggy on this one! I really discovered something while away in a cabin in Wisconsin last week. The cabin was adorable and the location a slice of heaven, right in front of Lake Michigan. We all thought it was a fantastic location because it was on a private beach and very remote away from the rest of the world.

As the week progressed even though there was 6 of us staying there it got kinda of lonely having no other people around. After awhile we all admitted wouldn't  it be nice to see some boats out there or people on the beach.

It was just a small taste of what like would be like stranded on a desert island and i like to have people around, maybe not a ton but some type of action!

I'd probably want to leave.  I'd miss my family and friends too much.

Sounds like you had a wonderful break albeit a little sparse on the human front.

It's pretty funny because when I was in love for the first time (and I hope it won't be a last one) like 7 years ago I told to my fiancee that I wouldn't mind if we would be the only people on the planet Well, if I could only go back in time.. 

Sometimes I think I would love to escape to any wild island forever. Actually I'm going to do something like that tomorrow. I will leave for long summer vacation to small village on the river bank with no civilization, computer, casinos etc. Just fishing and swimming. The only civilized thing I will have - a tight mobile Internet connection

I'd stay, I think It would be cool to live on a desert island, I much prefer living in a rural setting to living in a city anyway, and if it has everything i need and the one i love i can't think of a reason to leave. No responsibilities etc

That's a nice way to think about it Dominic but I even lose patience with someone I love after a while.

I am a man of simple taste haha unfortunately though gambling would be completely pointless if i already have everything i need

Right now I am sure that I would stay. But chances are I might get bored on that island sooner or later.

I think I would leave after a while. I like spending time alone but I need some company, my friends and family.
