Well, I have heard many a strange thing, but this was a new one....


Vladimir Lenin, King Tut and the McDonald's Happy Meal: What do they all have in common? A shocking resistance to Mother Nature's cycle of decomposition and biodegradability, apparently.

That's the disturbing point brought home by the latest project of New York City-based artist and photographer Sally Davies, who bought a McDonald's Happy Meal back in April and left it out in her kitchen to see how well it would hold up over time.

The results? "The only change that I can see is that it has become hard as a rock," Davies told the U.K. Daily Mail.

She proceeded to photograph the Happy Meal each week and posted the pictures to Flickr to record the results of her experiment. Now, just over six months later, the Happy Meal has yet to even grow mold. She told the Daily Mail that "the food is plastic to the touch and has an acrylic sheen to it."

Crying because I feel terrible...
Come to think I happened to purchase and feed my monkey boy this horrifying not even real food just yesterday...

Oh my!  I've eaten enough of those that my stomach is probably plastic to the touch and has an acrylic sheen to it.

In addition (In the article) they mention someone has kept one for 12 YEARS and it has yet to grow mold....Thank goodness I swore of the fast food joints.

Lmaoooo... it takes genenco to find such an interesting experiment... i still think about the ants and squashed snail vs tofo...

I tend to stay away from Happy Meals.. but it seems in their own way Happy Meals are remaining Happy Forever Meals... artificial preservatives i'm wondering should we really watch out for those? Now i'm thinking i got a happy meal stuck somewhere in my tummy.. i got the chicken nugget one once.. and now every now and then i want to "cluck"

and i just had two bigmacks ... now if you excuse me im going to throw up lol
