I was on holiday in Venice many years ago and went for a quick round of roulette and one of blackjack. The place had gorgeous views over the harbor and architecture of the city and an old world gambling den ambiance. Has anyone ever been to the Hardrock casino in Tampa FL or Hollywood FL?  Only casinos in Florida I think and they are beautiful.  The Hardrock Casino Hollywood is actually shaped like a Guitar and there a really cool light show at 8pm every night.  The pools are amazing and its good when you can go gamble why the wife and the kids are at the pool.  If you are in that neighborhood make sure to stop by.   They have a good rewards program (players club).

Honestly - I have been gambling online for almost 9 years now, but never ever gambled in a land based casino at all(Even though I am curious about it)!

I was thinking of going and trying a land based casino - But knowing RTP sits between 60 - 80% due to staff, salaries, building cost, water, electricity etc - Not sure I want to go lose my hard earned cash.

Holland Casino Amsterdam hosted the Master Classics of Poker tournament and despite not cashing it, it was a great experience. I lost my coupon that allows a free meal at the restaurant, but I told them I'm playing the main event and showed the proof, and they gladly welcomed me to have a dinner for free.

Out of Oklahoma, Louisiana and Mississippi, I have to say, for winning -

Did the best in Shreveport, Louisiana.  The dealers there even take time to help teach you a game if they're not slammed.

Mississippi was very pretty and best feature was free alcohol.

I'm from Louisiana, lol. I avoid the land casinos, since I've discovered online gambling. I find the land casinos or more of a rip off, than online. I have not been to many land casinos but the ones i am near is 2 or 3 hours away. I did not like the long trip and only won about 600 once in a number of years. I mostly like to go to enjoy the free perks like the rooms and food. I like online casinos a lot better.
