What States Allow Smoking and Offer Free Alcohol in Casinos?

If you are looking for free booze while you gamble here are a list of States that offer it:

Nevada, New Jersey, Colorado, Iowa, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Pennsylvania and South Dakota.

Smoking that is allowed on the Casino floor include:

New Jersey - Atlantic City
Nevada - Las Vegas
Indiana
Mississippi – Tunica- Biloxi
Iowa
Wisconsin
Kansas
Oklahoma
Michigan
Florida
Louisiana

While other Casinos in states don’t allow smoking there are smoking rooms outside the casino floor and some Indian reservation Casinos that have their own jurisdiction and allow smoking on the casino floor.

Here are some countries that prohibit smoking in casinos including:

Canada, the UK, France, Monaco, Uruguay and New Zealand.

California casinos (Indian), you can smoke in all of them.. Of course there are designated non smoking gaming areas. And if you're a diamond or seven stars with Caesars/Harrahs, you get comped alcohol at Harrahs Rincon. (San Diego)

its not US in Riga (Latvia) u can smoke everywhere and Olympic casino offer free alcohol when u play this is good relax for weekend
but also i noticed that very much young people is going there just for free alcohol, they put fiver in,..spin for max 0.05c and drink all night for free..i dont think its fair!

Sanchya, eventually they'll want to see what all the fuss is about once they lose a little of their inhibitions from the free booze. The casinos have plenty of the "real gamblers" money to be able to afford the alcohol that's being consumed by the other people. Besides.. If just one of those kids told another friend about it, who happened to like to gamble.. It would end up paying for his "free" drinks. There's a method to the madness. Lol

Mer that is so true. Like the free buffets that are comped. By the time i walk out of the restaurant after a gambling session i have paid for 20 buffets! Sometimes i sit there and look around and think i paid for that light fixture, that couch, that chair and a host of other things.

Lmao! I said the same exact thing to my ex after one of the Indian casinos built a huge property.. "Omg! We probably paid for that travertine!!" Hahaha give me a few drinks and I'll pay for the granite counter tops in all the restrooms. Lol!

Council Bluffs casinos and Praire Meadows will give you free drinks while playing at the tables.

Most of the other casinos are pretty tight regarding free drinks but will offer them to select players.

It's also important to remember that some of these things will vary from casino to casino in certain states.

For one example, Rivers Casino (Pittsburgh PA) is allowed to give free drinks (as with any PA casino), but they will only give free drinks to machine players if they are actively playing in the high-limit room or are a certain card level.  This, in fact, is as of only a few months ago.  Just a few months back, you either had to be a certain card level or high-rolling at the tables...but no automatic free drinks for machine players.

West Virginia can be added as a state that is allowed to give free drinks, though Mountaineer and Wheeling Island Casino generally DO NOT give free drinks unless you have a certain card level, a voucher or are playing in the high limit area in the case of Wheeling Island.  

In areas with little competition, even if the state allows free drinks, it is best to call an individual casino and ask if that is going to be a priority for you.  Like I said, it really can differ from place to place.  

As far as smoking, West Virginia can be added to the list of states that allow it.  

However, if going to a certain casino in a certain state, it is good to call ahead and ask.  State laws are not absolute and might be irrelevant if there are City/County indoor smoking laws.  This was the case at Mountaineer Casino in West Virginia for about a year, until the County finally granted them an exception.  Wheeling Island has always had an exception, though Ohio County, West Virginia, does have an indoor smoking ban.
