  • .....and another one bites the dust!

Latest casino that has been caught with a questionable Curacao licence offering pirated games is.... Pravda Casino.

Please take your time and read the full report about how our team discovered fake Microgaming, NetEnt, EGT and IGT games.

Good luck and avoid playing at Pravda Casino.

  • If I see an online casino with a Curaçao e-gaming license, it reminds me of rogue casinos. There are some exceptions but I noticed rogue casinos mostly have the curaçao egaming license on their website, this is why I think curaçao e-gaming license is poor, they often unresponsive or take a very long time to respond.

Anyhow, great job LCB, keep up the great job!

i dont think ita a coincidence at all.  everyone knows curacao license is crap, and im sure these rogue casinos know it too when applying for one. They know this regulator only cares about the money and obviously dont care if an operator has fake or legit games.

definitely it is a warning sign when ever there's a new casino licensed by Curacao. With that said there are good casinos using this license, not that this exonerates the licensor itself from their own responsibility to keep them casinos in check ( which they obviously don't ).

Now IMO there are two scenarios as to why Curacao would license casinos with fake games:

    1. They just collect the licensing fee etc, without doing their due diligence and inspecting whether the games are legit or not and whether there is anything else suspicious

    2. They initially do their due diligence before giving the license, but after a while rogue casinos would simply add pirated games without the licensor's knowledge.

Im more inclined to believe in the 2nd scenario , having in mind the correspondence we had with our Curacao contact and in regards to some rogue reports. As well as their willingness to suspend the offender's license..

Still they should tighten up their approval process and keep these casinos in check and do at least a yearly audit.

  • a 3rd and ever more nefarious theory if one was willing to test out the comfort and sense of security provided by a nice thick tinfoil hat could posit that the root of the onslaught of curacao sites using pirated/fake games is in fact one of the master license holders who are issuing white labels at the drop of a hat, with a complete set of fake games, charging the operators as though all the proper fees were being paid, i's were dotted and t's were crossed and laughing all the way to the offshore bank account their lawyer deposits all the extra profit to after he finishes filtering it through the 12 different holding companies and shell corporations in place to protect the privacy and identity of the low down dirty dog behind the dastardly scheme...

it may even be the illuminati.. we'll never know..

    *winks*

  • first time i hear about master license holders?

does it mean they are authorized and licensed by Ciracao licensing body to be a sublicensor so it can re-lease  their own license?

  • That's right, I am almost certain there are currently four Curacao E-Gaming Master License holders (who can operate both as casinos and offer so called sub-licenses to other casinos), granted the right to legally issue licenses to online operators to offer wagering services from within Curacao. Here is one of them

  • Indeed, the Curacao sub-license is rather like a diploma from the university of Phoenix, sure it may come from an accredited institution and those who bought a diploma may actually be qualified and capable, but the paper itself is not a decree of competency, it’s more of a receipt of purchase ;-p
