  • So I just want to share my story.  Cloudbet has stolen $15,000 account, 67 BCH (bitcoin cash) and has told me case closed.  I've gone to many mediators and some say they are trying to help.  The community on some forums also getting behind the situation and it doesn't look good for Cloudbet.

Here are a list of many other scams in the past: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=333552.msg55294669#msg55294669

As far as this scam goes, first, when I had about $30,000 in the account they mis-graded a wager.  They then told me that all wagers after that are voided becuase I didn't tell them (I didn't even realize it was a mis-grade).  So a $3,000 wager can cause all the other wagers to be void.  But that's just why they froze the account.  From there, they said since my PERMANENT residence is in USA, even if I have been in Europe and Mexico since pandemic started and since I opened an account at Cloudbet, that they are entitled to keep all the funds in the account, even my deposit.

There have been tons of back and forth and it's one of the most stressful situations in my life.  Cloudbet needs to stop scamming, they are serial scammers.  Can you guys please help mediate and get me the money back in the account?  Here are all of the deposits made to the account within a few days.

Here are all of the deposits I had made to the site in the last days.

FINAL CASHOUT REQUEST was around 67 BCH. Some other cashouts had been processed along the way without freezing the account yet.

I am now really sort of destitute and I am very depressed and not feeling well in the head I need help getting the money back so I can START MY LIFE AGAIN.  I deposited all of my money back into cloudbet, and they denied the final cashout.  I need help.  Someone.  Thank you.

They have sent me many emails saying this is the final communication on the matter, we are taking the money and nothing you can do about it.  Help.

GUYS DO NOT DEPOSIT TO CLOUDBET.COM EVER.  EVER.  EVER.  THEY STOLE $15,000 FROM ME FROM MY DEPOSITS.

  • Hello efxes,

We've received a reply from Cloudbet Casino and here's what they say:

"1. Cloudbet does not accept players from USA. If USA players attempt to create an account, they see a clear message that their jurisdiction is prohibited.

    2. If a player is found to be circumventing our automated checks and connects from a prohibited jurisdiction (such as USA), their account is immediately frozen pending an investigation. In this case, the player in question knowingly and deliberately circumvented our location checks, and was discovered and confirmed to be located in USA. They provided both ID and address proof from USA and also repeatedly attempted to login from USA IP addresses.

That the player is located in the USA is without doubt, and we prohibit all players from USA. That they knowingly and deliberately circumvented our country checks is also without doubt.

    3. In accordance with our T&Cs, in these situations we reserve the right to void all bets and return their account balance, up to the sum of their deposits. Furthermore, we reserve the right to confiscate funds in certain cases (such as repeat offenders). We did not confiscate any funds in this case, but instead voided all bets.

    4. In this particular case, the customer has already withdrawn more than the sum of their deposits and accordingly we consider the matter closed. If the player offers their consent, we can gladly share transaction hashes of all relevant transactions.

    5. Additionally, the player is sharing information and making claims in public web forums (such as this one) that they know to be untrue. For example, the player claims they have provided us with address proof outside of the USA which is untrue. The player has also made other untrue claims - such as the size of their deposits.

    6. We continue to have a duty of privacy to the player, so cannot publish information we have that directly contradicts their claims without the player's explicit consent. We can, however, share this with our regulator, or an arbiter with the player's consent. Additionally, if the player would like to consent to us sharing this information with select senior members of the community, we would be happy to do so.

    7. If the player wishes to continue their claim, we strongly encourage the player to take their case to Curacao eGaming, of whom will act as an arbiter. We agree to be bound by any ruling they make in this case.

We know the player is creating a lot of noise about this case, and we treat every claim of this nature seriously, but in this situation, the player knowingly tried to circumvent our rules, was caught, has already withdrawn more than their deposit, and is providing false information in public."

  • They say they don't want to pay and that i have to go through someone who can help mediate the case.  Can you please help get the funds back on the account?  They just essentially did this:

My account had profited around $30,000 in the course of the lifetime on the account.

They waited until I made a sum of $20,000 deposits in one day adding onto the account balance- they waited to see if I would lose it, when I didn't they froze the $15,000 cashout and confiscated the funds, stealing the last deposited funds on the account.

Do you understand how this works?  They freerolled me up to the sum of the profit on the account and I need help getting the funds back.

Yeah, that's what they say, but you can't do anything to help?  You have no say?

Do you understand how they stole the money?  They waited for me to deposit to steal the funds back.
