Proposed Website Update: USA Time Zone Calibration for Member Profiles

Calling all USA players! 🇺🇸 Is it just me, or are the Member Profile time zones completely out of sync? Currently, many of us are seeing incorrect times and inaccurate dates, and it’s more than just a minor glitch.

The Impact on Member Account

The primary frustration is that this technical discrepancy directly hinders a member’s ability to participate in the site's rewards ecosystem. Specifically:

• Daily Check-ins: The incorrect date/time makes it difficult to know when the daily check-in window opens or closes, often resulting in missed opportunities to maintain a streak or claim daily LCB Chips.

• Contribution Rewards: Points earned for contributing to articles, blogs, and forum posts are often tied to specific daily limits or timestamps. When the profile time is out of sync, contributions may not be credited to the correct day, or worse, they may not trigger the expected point rewards at all.

Everything seems right, though to see the correct time on your profile page, you need to refresh it, and the correct time will be shown, it will be updated. Your time zone is written right below it.

Regarding the daily activity - it's simple, if you login in once in a 24h - period you will be credited, if you don't you won't be. You do not have to login at the certain time. The system will pick up your activity. There might be a slight delay but you will be credited.

There are daily limits on ratings, but there are NO daily limits on chips earned by commenting on articles, reviews, and soo on. When you post a comment / forum post - if it meets the requirements, you will be credited.

Though chips can be removed if your posts do not meet the qualify guidelines - you start spamming, commenting on old and irrelevant news articles and so on. Such activities rase red flags for chip hunting.

Or it may happen that you made accidentally multiple posts. When such posts are removed, chips are adjusted as well.

You'll see from the screenshots provided, the issue is not resolved. My local time is now 16:03, or 4:03pm. My profile page doesn't nearly come close to the correct time zone.

I'm a huge fan of LCB, and this plight is only in support of the mission you advertise; For the Players, by the Players. 

You'll notice that the date has been updated to show today as the correct date. Before, I was stuck on last year December. Now if we can get the time zone correct, we're cooking with gas. Nevertheless, I truly appreciate your time and assistance, Markotik. You're a stellar example of the exemplary service that members come to expect from LCB. 

One more example to drive home the point. This screenshot displays a Mighty Member account, based in Netherlands. I've omitted the member's personal information, but the date is clearly incorrect.
