Back NetEnt Enters Colombian Market in Co-op with Rush Street Interactive

Swedish supplier of digitally distributed gaming systems, NetEnt, is going live this week in the regulated market of Colombia after signing a landmark deal with Rush Street Interactive, iGaming leader in LatAm.

This move follows the studio’s recent expansion in Switzerland and footprint boost in the UK with Betfred and Blueprint. As the company’s next strategic target comes into effect, players in Colombia will soon receive access to a selection of award-winning titles, building up the previously launched catalog of table games.

Rush Street Interactive has already integrated the provider’s acclaimed mainstream games like Perfect Blackjack and two variants of Roulette, marking an exclusive cooperation as the country’s first operator to provide NetEnt’s content on the market.

In the upcoming months, both gaming enterprises plan to set a larger collection of renowned slot games in motion on the market, including hits like Narcos, Dead or Alive II, Hotline, Wild Wild West and Warlords.

Expecting a Good Reception

According to the official statement of Brian Kraft, vice president commercial NetEnt Americas LLC, the company is excited about entering the Colombian regulated sector in cooperation with Rush Street Interactive.

The Swedish gaming giant could not have selected a better first partner to begin the journey of integration into a new jurisdiction, which is growing in size at a rapid pace. Kraft is confident that all NetEnt fans will be thrilled with the next rollout and expects a well reception of games by other players. Omar Calvo, general manager of Rush Street Interactive Colombia, comments:

“We are so pleased to expand our partnership with NetEnt to bring these top quality and well-known casino table games to RushBet.co players, NetEnt’s Blackjack and Roulette games are already among the most popular table games on our sites in the United States and we know players in Colombia, who appreciate top quality table game content, will love playing these games online at RushBet.co.”

Calvo added that RushBet.co local operations team in Bogota is working on numerous promotional activities to introduce new games to the Colombian market, including accelerating loyalty points.

Next Steps of Commercial Rollouts

Prior to receiving the global standard ISO 27001 certification, which has allowed the provider to launch its digital content with Grand Casino Luzern and Grand Casino Baden in Switzerland, the Swedish devloper expanded its portfolio with Wilderland and East Sea Dragon King, slots inspired by elves and Asian mythology.

As a reminder, the ISO 27001 certification is granted to businesses that are committed to information security management. Henrik Fagerlund, managing director of NetEnt Malta, has said that the certification represents an important acknowledgement for the company and its commitment to protecting sensitive information.

Among the upcoming releases are Rise of Maya and Ocean’s Treasure, games with medium-high volatility levels, nudge features, complimentary spins, stacked wilds and out-of-the-box graphics.

Earlier in March, the Swedish game producer implemented changes in the organizational structure of Red Tiger to strengthen competitiveness and raise efficiency. The provider reduced workforce by approximately 120 employees, mainly in Stockholm.
